He is a very good chiropractor and not money hungry like the other chiropractors around the bay area. he doesn’t take insurance but his rates are very reasonable. the massages after the treatments are definitely a plus.

not being a believer in traditional chiropractic practitioners and techniques, my friend told me of dr andy about six years ago. andy and his team are highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. my chiro need is pretty infrequent, but when i’m in need, there is only one place i go. i know i’ll be cheerfully welcomed back and positively relieved. the adjustment is amazing and the follow up massage is magnificent. there are more than adjustment treatments; i’ve seen cupping and a few other methods unknown to me. pop in and use the «first visit free» offer. it’ll change your world! the sliding fee scale is helpful and inclusive. an incredible asset to better health and mental well being!

Dr. Andy is amazing! He is honest, ethical, has integrity, and saved my life, literally. He is the best! Dr. Andy is better than any doctor I have ever known, which is many. He is generous, kind, superlative, and wonderful! I have been a patient since 2009. I do not write many reviews or Unilocal often, but I did so because Dr. Andy is a marvel. First visit really is free. It was great to feel the release in my neck after my visit and he has massage practitioners who worked on my neck afterwards. Great service and I plan to recommend Dr. Andy to many family members and friends. I’ll also be back.

Just as my medical condition had finally drained the last of my finances and hope was fading quite rapidly at finding any relief, I was blessed in finding Doc Andy and Tara. Both of whom have been amazing and inspiring in many ways. These people are true healers. In a world where medical help is becoming more and more a business for return clientele, Andy and Tara have carved out a beautiful welcoming space to help anyone in need. Regardless of financial standing. Now as my health is returning I intend to compensate what has been given to me as things improve and I am working again. Our current system drains you until you have nothing left. It’s completely backwards. These people are making health and recovery for people in a very forward thinking manner. Forever grateful to have found this place.

I’ve been going to Dr. Lesko for many years and have always been amazed at how quickly he understands the ailments of the body. My sacroiliac joint is always messing up and he knows what is up with my back immediately. One time there was a new masseuse and she maybe didn’t understand me well enough and it resulted in extreme pain; Dr. Lesko made sure that I was covered by one of his wonderful masseuses, Lim, who is a traditional therapist specializing in Thai massage. There is also a man who is a Martial Arts guru and is amazing at massage, and as well, offers his martial arts outside of the office as something I would definitely consider. Dr. Lesko’s energy is that of someone who knows how a healthy body should work.

I have been going to Dr Andy on and off for almost 15 years– he is an incredible healer and has helped me when no one else could. His massage practitioners are incredible. Go ahead and try to get more healing anywhere else for $ 20– I dare you

I was witness to the extreme distress of a friend who just came back from Andrew Lesko’s office. My friend has spent the past year recovering from 5 injuries including broken ribs, dislocated shoulder (for the 4^th time), sprained neck and arms, bruised cocyx, and the list goes on. Most of her daily and cherished activities have become painful experiences and have even gone on to further her injuries. It was really upsetting to hear that she went to the doctor’s office hoping to hear some professional advice to aid in her healing and instead was repeatedly body-​shamed by Andrew Lesko. This healthcare provider at no point asked her about her eating habits before proceeding to tell her she was overweight and that she was damaging HERSELF by «eating too much». He then told her to cut out one meal out of her diet. The abuse also happened in front of a group of people (10 – 12 others). So not only is she having to deal with the daily trauma of her injuries but now having been publicly shamed for her body size to top it off really makes it hard for someone to handle any kind of pain. I would NEVER consider going to someone who body-​shames injured women and I would suggest people not support Andrew Lesko.

This doctor had no regard for my past injuries. It’s cheap but it’s dangerous.
Here’s what’s happened during my last visit:
I have spent the last year of my life recovering from over 5 injuries including broken ribs, dislocated shoulder (for the 4^th time), sprained neck and arms, bruised cocyx, and the list goes on. All exercise I once took solace in is now extremely painful and typically ends in my injuring myself further. I go to a physical therapist, acupuncturist and personal trained for recovery. To say the least, it’s been a trying year. I have spent the last year doing all I can think to in an attempt to get back to the fit and strong self I once was. As a consequence of all this, I have gained weight (15−20lbs) and I’m not ashamed of that. I spent months bed ridden and usually end my day in so much pain I can do nothing but just lay flat. So after waking up hurting bad this morning, I decided to go here for some relief. I’ve gone to Dr. Lesko before several times and normally it’s fine. DEFINITELY rushed and not thorough (he never remembered what injury I had, what job I worked or where my pain was), but it’s $ 10 and it helped a little so I went back. TODAY, I was told by Dr. Lesko that I should stop eating so much, cut out at least one meal a day and only drink water for 8 or more hours daily. I asked if that was healthy because it didn’t sound healthy. He snickered, handed me some book he’s reading and compared me to another OVERWEIGHT American who is aiding my own problem. Now this would have been pretty hard to hear alone in an office and I probably would have taken it with less intensity and explained my situation to him. But this dogmatic vomit was being projected to me in a loud voice in front of 10 – 12 people all of who were staring at me in disbelief. He said «you eat too much, stop eating so much» at least 3 times to me. He does not know this because he never asked, but I eat three meals a day– 95% organic whole foods, never eat fast food and my main vice is dark chocolate. I work 50 – 60 hours a week and am very driven despite all my limitations. I don’t drink a lot and I care a whole lot about my health and what I put in my body. This «doctor» never inquired about my diet or limited exercise options he made the strong decision to just assume I shoveled food in my body all day and laid on my ass. He proceeded to SHOW ME A PHOTO of two rats explaining I was like the FAT one on the left who like all Americans eat too much and don’t exercise, and I need to become the «normal» one on the right who is very slender and drinks water half the day. Why am I sharing this with the internet considering how terribly embarrassed I am? Because I am HORRIFIED that at 5′ 7″, 155 lbs and with a 29 inch waist that I was being BODYSHAMED with no reference or care to what I have been through in front of an entire office of people staring at me in shame. I will never again support Dr. Andrew Lesko. I am FURIOUS that this happened to me and I am sick thinking about this happening to anyone else at this office. Be proud of your bodies and who you are– and please stand up for others AND YOURSELF if you are being bullied based on delusional perceptions of normal. Body shaming is NEVER OK and if he is preaching this vomit to me, I can only imagine how many women he has offended and left in tears, like I did today. Unfortunate for him, I have self confidence and integrity and instead of leaving deciding to starve myself, I have decided to let people know of his «practices». We look to our medical professionals for guidance and leadership– he should be ashamed of himself. He picked the wrong woman. I am shocked by all these positive reviews.

Dr. Andy is the best chiropractor anyone could ever have. Every time i felt pain, he was always there to adjust my spine. He definitely got my back. He’s very passionate on what he does whether it be painting, sculpting, martial arts or adjusting people’s spines. When i was taking a Surgical Technology program in college, he even helped me out by translating those hard-​to-​comprehend medical lingo into laymen’s term. Dr. Andy cares about people and it shows. He truly is a quintessential role model.

W0W, to meet a chiropractor who really cares and is affordable, Now that’s EXCEPTIONAL! Dr. Andy will treat you the first time for FREE and you will get a fine massage, for just a tip! He takes walk-​ins and is open 6 days a week.

If you’re in a bind for a cheap and quick treatment, this is the place. If you’re looking for thorough and caring this is not the place and you’ll have to spend more.
Attitude wise, they’re usually pretty direct and prickly wether you’re in the mood or not. At one point I even invited some friends to this place, but the act wore on them quickly. Personally, a couple times the treatment helped, another time I’m pretty sure my ribs were sore for days because of rushing through the treatment and applying too much pressure.

I love going here. Andrew is so nice and helpful. I am glad there is a sliding scale. I love how someone with just pick up a guitar and sing. Andrew is also a talented artist! Great community. I love the massage by the great massage therapists at the end!

Thanks to an intense weightlifting/​bodybuilding workout program and lifestyle that i have chosen over the past four years, injuries have taken their toll on my skeletal system. Any serious weightlifter should read this:
I first came into Dr. Andy’s office because my wife made it clear i needed to get help and she could not help me with just massage therapy. I ended up pinching a nerve in the back of my neck from doing something in the gym that i can’t remember but i’m sure it was upright rows or rear deltoid flys. Regardless, it was a sharp, knife like pain in my neck that limited my ability to turn my head. It left a dull shooting pain down my left arm all the way to my fingers. There was no way i could workout and have this issue get better on its own. As much as i fight getting help, i knew my wife was right; this needed professional attention.
So I stroll into Dr. Andy’s office. He instantly made me feel like i was in the right place. There were no lab coats, clip boards, and hefty insurance forms to make my pain feel worse. Instead, i filled out a quick form explaining my issues and he had me in his chair before i could blink. I will never forget that first neck adjustment. With all of the deep popping, i was struck with a feeling of relief and happiness. It almost made me laugh how good i felt in 30 seconds. Then he put me on his table and adjusted my spine which felt amazing. Dr. Andy is an Angel. He is a Master of his Craft.
It only took three visits for my neck to feel normal again. I actually felt better than before my injury. I ended up seeing him around 12 times on his unlimited 1 month plan. Today i feel stronger and healthier than before. My posture feels right. He helped not only my injury but he helped my entire body by getting all of the pieces back in line.
I feel very confident to push the heavy weights and excel in this sport i love and can’t imagine not doing. I know if things seem out of place or another injury creeps up on me, Dr. Andy will be there to help me through it again and I will not hesitate to seek his help.
In conclusion, I highly recommend Dr. Andy. He is a compassionate doctor and just an all around great guy. Very Friendly and warm, unlike any doctor i have ever seen. He will fix your pain. His massage therapists are Great as well and they pay attention to what your needs are. Dr. Andy’s prices are extremely affordable. The first visit is free.

I’ve been in more accidents than I care to remember (shout out to terrible drivers!) and even though I’m 23, I have loads of back problems. I used to travel quite far to receive help from a chiropractor who knew my exact issues and it was fantastic except for the cost and the time I would spend waiting for him to work on other patients ahead of me.
Andrew, or Andy, is able to completely adjust me in the time that I would spend in the waiting room at my previous chiropractor. On top of which, there’s no hesitation or stumbling when adjusting. No having to try a different position or cracking that last vertebrae. Instead, it’s quick, painless, and all for a super reasonable price.
I highly recommend everybody to go visit his office since the first visit is free. You really don’t know how badly you could use an adjustment until you get one and feel that much lighter on your feet.

Dr. Lesko is a pleasant, obviously intelligent person who is there to help. He quickly identified my problem areas and adjusted them with the kind of expertise that can only come from experience.
After a quick message I was on my way and feeling great. I try to go every saturday now because it’s so affordable.

In all my years of working as a chiropractic assistant, Doc Andy is the BEST adjuster. His office, which looks more like an art gallery, charges an inexpensive flat fee and may still have a prepay plan to save you more money. If you’re short of funds the office will work with you to get the care you need.
As someone who has been worked on by a dozen chiropractors, I say with confidence you will find no one better.
Last I knew, he doesn’t accept work comp, personal injury cases, or any kind of insurance, but that may have changed. His office is a no hassle cash only practice, which allows him to focus on his patients rather than mountains of BS paperwork.
