Adam Rosenblatt, MD

I do not recommend this doctor’s office unless you are a very important person and have lots of time to waste and extensive funds. If you are an average person (like myself), you will have to jump through many hoops to try to get the care you need, wasting lots of time and money and ultimately end up where you started – looking for a new doctor. I was was forced to see the nurse practitioner who has little experience with anything more complicated than the common cold. I was told that I wasn’t allowed to make an appointment with the actual doctor. I was sent to see 4 specialists and all wondered why my primary care doctor could not have handled the matter. This was after paying each one and finding nothing new. Even the specialists suggested I find a better primary care doctor. There are many complaints about Joan, the receptionist. Her employers are aware that she is rude and they accept her behavior because she has been there forever. Don’t bother complaining about Joan, nothing will be done about it and your medical care will suffer greatly as a result (if you are an average person).

I called this office 3x (a friend recommended Dr. Rosenblatt). Apparently, they don’t need new patients since I never received a return call, despite leaving messages each time.
He may or may not be a good doctor but his assistant Joan (or anyone else, for that matter) does not appear to return phone calls, despite several attempts on my part.

Dr. Rosenblatt is great! I have been under his care for over a decade. I researched family doctors after I was getting no where and my health was getting worst.
I will be forever be grateful for the care he has bestowed on me and my husband.
He is attentive and genuily cares about his patients. I never felt rushed and he has been always able to figure out the problem. I wish there were more docs like him.
Joan is great as well. She runs a very busy office and she is always on top of things. A no non sense kind of lady… does a great job!
I will continue to recommend his office and practice!

I have been a Patient for 8 – 9 years. Overall I have been somewhat satisfied. I must say that I have seen the nurse practitioner much more than Dr. Rosenblatt. She is great. The medical technicians have been professional as well.
Unfortunately for the practice, I find Joan to be inefficient and rude. It is too bad that she is more often than not the face of an otherwise well run practice.

I had my first visit with Dr. Adam Rosenblatt. What a positive experience it was. I had a pinched nerve and he did an overall exam on me and noticed that I was overweight, which I know is my own fault. He was very approachable. He answered all the questions that I had and he even referred me to a back specialist. I feel way better now and have committed myself to exercising and eating right.
It’s tough to get an appointment at times but his assistant Joan is pretty cool when you get to know her. She does return your calls on the same day you leave a voicemail.

I have been a patient of Adam Rosenblatt for over 20 years and would have to say that he is an excellent physician.
A trip to see him for the annual physical is something I always look forward to. At the visit in walks Adam, sans the white coat and in great physical shape, always extending the friendly handshake. His personable and mild-​mannered approach is one of the many qualities I admire about him. Communicating with him is relaxed and comes easily. It’s like chatting with one of my buddies. He is serious about your health and serves as a trusted partner in managing any issues that arise and guiding you to recovery and good health. Adam is punctual, patient, very knowledgeable and competent, and a good communicator and listener. He has been accurate in diagnosing and treating problems I have experienced. His review of your health history and head-​to-​toe exams are thorough. I never feel rushed when seeing him.
His assistant, Joan, is also wonderful and very reliable. She always follows through with any requests, such as scheduling appointments, sending records, making referrals, and following up with any messages from him.
Adam is really an outstanding physician and an all around great guy! I will dread the day he retires and hope that he practices until he’s 85!

Excellent and knowledgeable MD. He is great that is why I stay loyal to him even though my out pocket expense are a bit higher. He is worth that extra difference for his expertise!
I highly recommend him to all my friends and family.
Joan, his assistant is also great. Hint: get to know her and scheduling can become that much easier.

I’ve been seeing him for 26 years. He is awesome.
Re some of the negative comments about reaching him/​his staff, I found that the trick is to call his admin Jane directly. She is also awesome and gets back to you in a day or so, less if it’s urgent.
He is the best.

Dr. Rosenblatt himself is an outstanding physician. He conducts the history part of you physical exam in his office which is far superior to having you fill out a checklist in the waiting room. Also, his physical exam skills are top notch and he is very thorough. I got a good talking to about losing weight, but I expected that and I appreciate his honesty.
So if Dr. Rosenblatt is so great then why the 4 stars? His office staff is pretty bad. I found them to be rude and almost impossible to reach on the phone. They don’t return phone calls in a timely manner either and it appears some people have to actually FAX in their requests!
So bottom line the doctor is fantastic but the office experience somewhat decreased an otherwise stellar experience.

The office loses one star for the difficulty reaching staff on the telephone. I use faxes to request appointments!

Dr. Rosenblatt is a no nonsense kind of doctor. Great manners, nice temperament, but does not mince words. He is very pro-​active when it comes to heart related issues — expect him to tell you to lose weight.
Also, his nurse practitioner is very good and can cover for Dr. Rosenblatt when things are busy (which is usually all the time.)
Edit: Matthew P. takes an unfair shot at Joan in his review. She is a no non-​sense type of office manager. She is NOT rude. In fact, she is quite pleasant, but In a busy office like that small talk tends to be very brief — don’t take it personally.

I like Dr. Rosenblatt when you get a chance to see him. He’s direct, consultative, proactive and honest.
I dislike that his staff doesn’t follow up with information the doctor promises after a visit, and that you need to schedule an appointment 3 – 4 months in advance to see him, or that it’s really really hard to speak to somebody human on the phone.

He was prompt and communicated effectively regarding my current and future health risks.
