I saw the picture of the Encinal Place restoration on the website but it never dawned on me that I’ve been there! I used to eat at TapEx and I just tried the Vietnamese restaurant in the building that these guys restored. Apparently they received an award for the job from the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society. Well deserved!
