The staff at all of the Academy of Art University buildings are amazing. Very passionate and professional people work here. They love their jobs here too. It shows by their outward friendliness and capacity to be helpful to myself and others I have seen them interact with. From the office support to the engineres, Academy is number 1 in my books.

Attended Melissa’s Small’s showing of «Layers of Vanity» at the AAU Gallery at the Cannery yesterday evening.
Melissa is a MFA from AAU. Her oil paintings of high heels, pearls, perfume bottles, lipstick, makeup, including muted message like «euphoria» was quite thought provoking in an unexpected way. Helping me to get in touch with my feminine side. .. and to talk with my daughter about the topic of ‘vanity’ in ways that I had not previously considered.
I recommend Melissa’s art to you. Enjoy.
