Del Taco

They got my order right… which is actually a big deal for me.

Del Taco is awesome. They have a great selection off junk food –let’s face it that’s what it is– and pretty much everything will taste good. Also they’re the only place that offers Mr. Pibb these days! I come here a lot, we all like it.
HOWEVER! Recently in the mornings, the manager is always rude to me. I wrote to the business before Unilocaling about it, but was wondering if anyone had a similar experience. She acts like she can’t be bothered to care about the customer, and has even lied about the price of a drink to me. I get dollar iced teas everyday (well before I bought my own) and a week ago it was $ 1.99. I let her know I wanted the dollar one, she said it wasn’t a dollar anymore. No biggie, promotions end. But the next day in the afternoon… it was a dollar again, and has been a dollar at others. She was so lazy, or spiteful, or WHATEVER, that she had to LIE about a dollar to me. How ridiculous is that!
Also, don’t bother getting anything with beans if you’re hear in them morning. They are never fully cooked and taste like crap. I will come here in afternoons and evenings only, so they maintain an average review for that.

Food selection is there for their customers. Customer service is there as well. Prices are fair for what they offer. Plenty of parking so you have the option to eat there or get it to go through drive thru or pick up. My go to when i come here is their steak and potato burrito hits the spot when I am hungry. They have plenty of locations through out the valley if this particular one is too far for you.

Shady folks. For some reason every time I visit this place, there’s always shady people loitering.

I love this place. Always friendly staff, speedy food service, and good fast food. I only wish they were open late night.

Love the beans and cheese burritos with the green sauce. Beans have the right texture and flavor is just. the size is great and all for a dollar exelent for a non meat eater like me. The crunchtadas are exelent they have the meatlees one, the first time i had one it reminded me of childhood food in michoacan. Love their music selection if you love the 80’s.free wifi

As usual the crinkle fries were excellent… came during lunch time but staff were prepared and able to maintain cleanliness of this restaurant. Saw one worker come out to dining area twice to clean up after those rude customers who don’t clean up after their mess. .I guess they didn’t learn ‘clean up after your mess’ in kindergarten.. overall, you guessed it.. both thumbs up!!!

For fast food it just tastes like it’s better for you than the other options in the same vicinity. Mcds Burger King and Taco bell are within 50 yards but this is the best of the 4. Food comes out quick and tastes fresh. (As fresh as future stomach cramps/​explosive gas can) Del chicken burrito is great as well as the Mac and cheese balls when they have them… Service is good. Drive through is a bit funky and narrow but works. Choose here if u need a quick bite in the ‘Mar.

Fast food restaurants in Sylmar to begin with are not the best, and for it being this late at night the food tonight was perfect! I tip my hat off to the after hours night crew (10pm– and on) Thank you for a satisfying meal!

Honestly the grilled chicken tacos are the best! They have never got my order wrong the person on drive through is always professional it’s great! Highly recommended!

Waited in line at the drive thru way to long

It’s fast-​food that is pretty decent.
This location has a small and slow drive-​thru, decent food, and more than reasonable prices.
I recommend their quesadillas and french fries. They have to be using cheddar cheese because it’s just so smooth sharp none of that Kraft American stuff. The only downside to the quesadillas is that they are extremely greasy! The fries have good texture not too crispy and not too soggy. They have good flavors and get the job done.

This Del Taco is consistently clean, friendly staff with great service. If your a Del Taco fan You already know the menu choices and the quality of the food is much better then the competitor (Taco Bell). This Del Taco is my all time favorite!

The first time I came here there was a fruit fly in my burrito. I few months later I decided to go back and there was a wrapper in my burrito. I just stopped going there completely.

I like Del Taco. Whenever I need a quick cheap lunch this is my spot. They have the $ 4 meals nowadays which are pretty cool. The only reason I haven’t given this location their 5^th star is because they always go stingy on their hot sauce. They seriously only give you one packet per item. Come on man! You knows I gots to have my sauce!

The service is bad, they always skimp you out on the hot sauce when you go to the drive through, and the people forget my order every time. I’m like dude, I just came for a 6 soft tacos and a drink, how do you screw that up?

I generally don’t like large chain restaurants, but i have to say when i’m in the neighborhood this spot is one of my guilty pleasures — very friendly staff and flavors that hit the spot!

I used to commute through this area, and actually miss going to this Del Taco! always fresh! great service and the management keeps this place in tip top condition, unlike a lot of other nearby fast food joints. my favorite is the Spicy Chicken Burrito, Tostada and of course the macho French Fries! don’t forget to wash it all down w/​a Diet Coke. ;)

One of the best Del Tacos I’ve been to. Clean. Friendly. And so fresh. I’m a huge Del Taco fan and this is the one I prefer.

Del Taco is definitely a must on Tuesdays and Thursdays, for their taco specials, very good and cheap. Make sure to try their bean and cheese burritos with green sauce very delicious.
Del Taco also has ridiculous upgrades, their macho size is just ginormous. The employees at this paticular Del are very nice, and always hook it up with sauce if you ask.
For breakfast its all about the egg and steak burrito.
