Platform Color Style Salon

I highly recommend this upcoming Hair Guru. Thanks to Platform Stylist Cindy Fernandez, my formerly dry, parched and unmanageable mane is smooth, modern and incredibly healthy. I showed her a pic & she devised a phased-​in approach over my next 3 appts. First, an excellent cut both wet & dry to shorten, shape and thin out my heavy layers. Second, a Keratin Smoothing Treatment for easy styling at home. Lastly, a Bolyage of copper & caramel highlights. I highly recommend the phased approach which saved me time & money since it was spread out and I applaud Cindy for all her skills and talent tackling my very difficult, and very big head of hair. I am liberated and love everything about my new look.

I love platform! Lisa the owner is such an awesome lady with a great attitude. And Cindy is great also, she gave me bangs and a haircut which comes with complementary bang trims always a plus! My hair feels great with the davines products she uses. My favorite is the sea salt spray which smells great. I use it for an easy air dry beachy feel. Thank you Cindy :)

I literally made this Unilocal account for the sole purpose of writing a review on this salon. I went in wanting caramel balayage and had a few photos of what I wanted. The salon is so CUTE! From the outside it reminds me of a little café or tavern. Very laid back and cozy. The receptionist was quick to greet me and offer me a beverage. I had booked Cindy F. after finding her on Instagram and seeing all of her amazing work. Cindy was so warm and welcoming and super easy to talk to. I let her know the trauma my hair has been through in the past year (bleaching and a bad box-​dye job). Because of all the processing my hair had been through, Cindy recommended achieving the results I wanted in 2 visits to not damage my hair any further. She got rid of the remnants of that box-​dye job and gave me the MOST BEAUTIFUL bronze/​copper/​caramel balayage I have ever seen. I am so excited to go in for visit #2 and add more. She totally transformed my hair! It has never looked so healthy and felt so soft! I am so thrilled to have finally found my go-​to stylist. She’s AMAZING!!!

I had been to Platform previously, but it had been a couple years. I went in to retouch my blonde roots and was scheduled with Cindy. She did a fabulous job and was so personable and knowledgable. She was able to make my roots match my current blonde perfectly and she even recommended a treatment to strengthen my hair in between color processes. Definitely going back to her next go around!

Dani has been my regular stylist for years. We collaborate on what to do and she offers advice on what will look good and what may be too damaging to the hair (I always wanna go nuts but she reminds me there’s a prove to pay for that and if I’m willing to live with danged hair, she’ll do it). Dani knows color but she also knows texture. I have curly hair and she always does a great job cutting my hair in a way where it will look good natural or straight. My mom wears hijab and Dani helped to arrange a time to cut her hair in privacy. That kind of cultural sensitivity is hard to come by!

I have moved and I still haven’t found a hair dresser to go to regularly but since this place was down the street I decided to try it. I love the small and intimate set up of this salon. I know this place specializes in color but I went in for a hair cut and the stylist did a great job. The staff was friendly and informative but not too pushy and very knowledgeable about product and treatments. I will consider going back soon for another hair cut.

I’ve been here three times so far (one visit was just for a complimentary bangs touch-​up) and I always leave happy. The first time I came here, Cindy did my hair. I really liked how she asked a lot of questions about my hair and problems I might have with it and what I wanted. I really felt like she was super attentive and wanted to get my haircut just right, which I really appreciated. She also recommended a really good leave-​in for me to buy (without any pressure) because she knew that my hair tends to be on the dry side since I’m in the sun a lot. The next time I came in was for a bangs touch-​up, and the girl who cut them (I forget her name but she is blonde and skinny) was super sweet and made me feel comfortable enough to ask her to keep cutting shorter. Last time I came in, I got my hair cut by Daniel, and he was super friendly and easy to talk to. I liked that he kind of decided what style to cut my hair based off of my interests/​style, since I had come in that day not really having a specific cut in mind. I walked out looking like a total cutie, all thanks to him. I have come to the conclusion that you could get your hair done by anyone here and have a great experience and walk out of the salon looking like a total cutie, too.

Super cute salon and Lisa is not only a sweetheart but amazing at what she does! Even the few times that I have just let my hair air dry (God forbid!), her cut is so good that my hair still looks good — seriously! And my color is perfect — I am just trying to cover the gray and she is so good that no one knows that I have it done — don’t tell ;)

LOVE… Platform! Elsa is even more AMAZING than the reviews I had read. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. I am always hesitant to try new places without a referral do to bad experiences, but Elsa listened to what I wanted and gave me some of her recommendations and Voila!!! My hair looks AMAZING! Can’t wait to go back!

I needed a color and my hairstylist wouldnt fit me in. I found this salon and they fit né in same day. They are always good about getting me in even if i call on the same day. Everyone is super friendly and wants to make sure you look and feel like a princess. They take their time. The bonus is they Give really awesome massages when washing your hair! I had Daniel and he really listens to what I want and gets the color spot on! Definitle try them out!

Im a big fan on giving people the credit that they deserve and Cindy deserves a major shout out. I came into the salon not even expecting to get my hair done but Cindy was more than willing to help me out. Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair but she was friendly and easy to talk to. I believe she is still trying to build her clientel so give her a try. You won’t be disappointed

I absolutely love this salon. Its an adorable shop with a really chill vibe. Daniel did wonders with my hair. I was always afraid to go to a salon but after my experience with the platform i will diffenately be coming back.

To any women out there that have had any issues with their hair due to «thyroid problems», you know what that can do to your hair! My issues were my bangs. The dryness attacked my weak area, and my bangs started breaking… un even of course right in front, BUT… Elsa is my hair angel! She does the most amazing extensions, and for me it was extensions for my bangs… YES my bangs! the best you’ve ever seen! No one would even know unless I told them. There is nothing worse than having a problem with your hair right smack in the middle of your face, and she completely fixed the problem for me… and made me feel good about myself again!!!

Absolutely love my new hairdresser, Dani! My first time to this salon and I was treated as if I was a longtime client. Dani listened to my request and really paid attention to the details. She is so easy to talk to and made the 3 hours fly by. I love the color, cut and style. She is amazing at her craft!

My experience at Platform a few weeks ago was wonderful. Dani cut my hair and I love it! I also got a gloss and I was very nervous of doing any color since I haven’t done anything for years, but she did a wonderful job and the color turned out beautiful. I will definitely be coming back! Plus the salon is adorable and cozy :)

I tried this salon for the first time based from all the great reviews on here and I now know why they have such good ratings. First, the salon itself is way too cute. Clean, up to date, chic but not great products. I love a salon that greets you and offers you something to drink. Second, my stylist Daniel was awesome. I told him exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it and I walked out of there completely satisfied and feeling rejuvenated! The power dose is a must. Even if it’s extra, it just feels amazing. Third, they’re not pushy with trying to sell the products they used on you which I appreciate.
Prices are worth it for the quality cut and color you want and will get. I found my new salon and I love it!

i am somewhat new to the area and stumbled across Platform Salon on Unilocal,I saw the good reviews and i thought what the heck! Lets give a shot. I was immediately impressed with how beautiful the building is inside and out. The girl at the front desk is always smiley and nice and they immediately offer you a beverage as soon as you walk in. It feels like a luxurious salon without the luxurious prices. My hair stylist is Daniel, and he always makes my hair look and feel a million times better. He really knows «blonde» and always does the perfect shade. My husband recently went to him too and he came home looking like a rockstar. love this place!

Dani is my stylist and I trust her completely with my hair because her work is her passion… We’ve gone ombré, blonde, platinum and even extensions. She is up to date on the latest and greatest in hair. They serve beer & wine while you get styled too. The salon has a modern feel and most of their products are organic and natural. Everyone is very friendly :)

I have been going to Platform Salon for 7 years and I see Angel Diaz… She always does an amazing job with my cut and color. I have also done a Keratin treatment with her. She is stylish and sweet and a great girl. When she is away on vacation I have gone with Elsa and Lisa and they have nailed my color both times. Since they work side by side they have similar education and technique. All around happy to have found Platform Salon they always make my hair look so beautiful. Picture to follow

Lisa and Angel are awesome colorists! I highly recommend them. The entire staff is nice, and all of them do great work! You can’t go wrong with any one of them.
Besides getting a great haircut and color, you’ll also have a great time!
