Cool Time Air Conditioning & Heating

My air conditioning on a rental property in Diamond Bar broke during a heat wave. Cool Time was recommended to me by a business acquaintance. Of course everyone in the AC business was busy including Robin, Mike, and Chris. Robin was very friendly and understanding of my sense of urgency. She listened, made me feel cared for, and scheduled Mike and Chris out to the property quickly. Robin not only had to work with me long distance, she gladly made the phone calls to the tenants and kept the communication lines open to all. Mike and Chris confirmed what 2 other companies did, the unit had to be replaced. I choose Cool Time not for the price (which was competitive) but the above and beyond service and the sense of comfort they gave me about doing the job well and standing by their work. I checked the Contractors License Board and they were in very good standing which added to my comfort. Additionally, I like supporting local family owned business. Cool Time has been in business for over 30 years as a Family owned business, again that speaks volumes to me. Mike and Chris got the job completed timely and with quality work. I am grateful for their service and would recommend them to anyone needing repair or replacement.

my air conditioning broke last night and looked here on Unilocal and decided to give them a call and the lady that answer the phone (robin) was so nice explaining everything to me. The guys (gentleman) came right on time and fix it. Very happy for this family company wish them the best !

Fast, friendly courteous service. I highly recommend Cool Time for your a/​c needs. Mike and Chris were fantastic and patiently explained what work was needed without the pressure of a salesman’s pitch. Mike and Chris installed a 4 ton system for me. Their work is impeccable, neat and completed quickly. In my line of work I’ve seen quite a few airco installs and I have to say theirs was the neatest and most professional. Both guys were a pleasure to work with and I’d highly recommend them.

So as it turned out, we had a large leak in our ac unit. They tried to find a nice cheap solution for us, but recommended a new compressor. We opted for the new compressor and had it installed 2 days later in about an hours time. They were friendly and most importantly, honest. Thank you Chris and Mike!

Like I predicted in my previous post… we ended up needing a big AC/​heating job so we turned to Cool Time. They installed a brand new AC/​heater in one of our rental properties. The old one was just too old (30+ years?) and was beyond saving. Cool Time took care of everything on time and as scheduled all while being very accommodating with my schedule AND our tenants schedule. However, in the middle of completing the job – we had a significant family emergency and they were kind enough to come out to our house (in a totally different city than the job) to finish up the payment and deliver the permit paperwork. I’m not sure if they are a family business but they definitely run like one – family values not just for them but for their customers as well.

Mike and Chris from Cool Time are the honest type of repairmen you luck out getting. They fixed my AC quickly and reasonably priced. I had the misfortune of dealing with Novell first who tried to hustle me in complete re-​build of AC with the scam of «forgetting» tools for onsite repair but could return later for $ 120.00 flow check. No thanks. I HIGHLY RECOMEND COOL TIME AIR CONDITIONING AND HEATING! They now have a loyal customer for life.
