Been coming for years and now that I have a toddler they have no kids food. I asked and the only thing they have is 3piece meal. That’s horrible. What about easy things like Mack n cheese or something for a kid. That’s big minus points. There is a similar competitor up the street that has same food and more for kids. Hope someone upstairs in the BIG decisions is listening.

This is just a unique place in SD. They are plenty of wing places to choose from and this one has the it factor. I can’t figure out what«it» is but it keeps me coming back. I love the location on convoy in Clairemont Mesa. Try the 8 piece that comes with 4 breadsticks. You cannot go wrong with any of the flavors but mine is the mild. Mmmmmmmm mmmmm mm!

I love this place. The chicken strips and breadsticks are perfect every time. I could literally eat here everyday. The staff are really nice and the lady behind the counter recognizes me and talks soccer with me which is a nice added touch. It’s friendly, delicious, and all at a great price.

Found this place with my Unilocal app. On vacation with my fam from Denver, we wanted wings we can order and take back to the hotel n eat. Decided to try this place. Turns out they weren’t that bad. Wife and I got the hot with garlic, one kid got lemon pepper and the other got medium. They were delicious! No complaints at all other then the employee didn’t know how to spell«Joel». I even went in reposing my BRONCOS hat and being that it looked like a chargers hangout, no one gave me slack.

Came with a big group for a fundraiser last week on a weekday around 7 or 8. Parking was decent! Got the lemon + pepper and the bbq wings but they came in the same basket slathered in sauce and basically tasted the same. Not only that but also both were SOSOUR!!! Would not come back(at least not for those 2 flavors) the only thing keeping this review from being a 1 is cus breadsticks brushed with olive oil were 10⁄10 fresh af I love carbs and grease

I’ve been going here for years & the food is always good! But the workers don’t seem very friendly. I went here today & the cashier wasn’t smiling at all or had any type of good customer service. She just seemed very bored with her job.

The Food is delicious, but the workers are very unprofessional and rude with attitude. I called in to place an order for pick up and arrived 20minutes afterwards like told, my order was incorrect so the older woman in the back with a black hair net got bothered and gave me attitude stating it would take ANOTHER20mins just for another pizza breadstick. I agreed to wait and she rolled her eyes and asked again if I really am going to wait. Told her yes again and she just walked away. I’m not sure if she was in charge or whom was, but if YOUGIRLS messed up the order because you couldn’t understand English you shouldn’t give the costumer attitude. Once my food was ready I got the plastic bag thrown at me. Won’t ever come here again. My food was a complete mess.

Location: It’s in the same complex as Original Pancake House and the Japanese BBQ place Décor: It is like a sports bar with wooden table and chairs. Lots of TV’s and fairly spacious. Food & Drinks: All I can say is that for less than $ 10 you can get a fairly complete meal. You get your raw veggie sticks(celery and carrots) with your choice of ranch or blue cheese sauce, 2 bread sticks, and your choice of wings or strips with the choice of your sauce. This place lets you customize the way you like it and get things the way you want it. I usually stick to my regular 4 strips and honey BBQ sauce. They cook their chicken well and I have always enjoyed myself. There isn’t any WOW factor, but I can’t complain when they offer good food at a great price! Happy Wing Eating my Friends!

This place is always one of my go-to’s when I’m in the area. They have a huge selection to choose from like wings, fries, strips, etc. Lots of different sauces to choose from. My favorite is the 4 strip combo with BBQ/Medium sauce and a side of Bleu Cheese dressing for dipping. I recommend calling in your order because it can take anywhere from 15 – 25 min especially during the lunch rush. The parking is pretty bad, again, during the lunch rush(11:30p-12:30p) especially. Also, don’t forget to order a drink because the combos don’t include one. Just the chicken with breadsticks and a side of veggies(celery and carrot sticks).

This place is the absolutely best. This is the second location I have been to and both have been tops in the quality. The bread sticks and the chicken are awesome. The family pack I purchased for my wife, daughter and in-laws would have been enough but my in-laws bought a double meal and pizza sticks so we had way too much food. My Godson that we visited loved the left overs. The medium sauce is spicy enough to make things interesting but not too hot so that you cant feel your lips. Gotta feel the lips; otherwise, you spill the beer. The place is clean, clean bathrooms and sports on the TV’s. You will have to endure all the Chargers and Padres crap on the wall [GO Dodgers!] but otherwise, its a very nice place to go.

Very polite gentleman on the cashier, helpful. That’s my first time here so hopefully I’ll repeat it depending on the taste

Wings here are above average. Would give them a 3.5. They need to do a better job keeping the tables clean though. Oh, but their bread sticks are the bomb.

I would give 3.9 stars. My husband and I did take out. They took amble time(30 mins) and we’re ready when we picked them up. I think the wings could have been cooked a little longer to add a crispy-ness to them but other wise they were good. Not great but defiantly not bad either. I will order from them again but request for a crispier wing next time. Breadsticks were ok but nothing memorable.

3.5 Stars… Can’t believe I have never written a review of Wings N Things! This place has been around for awhile and it used to be a «go to» spot when work would get things catered. The selections and ordering process are pretty straight forward. You can order bone in wings, boneless wings, or chicken strips. We always get the chicken strips. You can get a «single meal» which includes 4 strips, 2 breadsticks, a «double meal» 8 strips and 4 breadsticks, or a «family meal» which is 16 strips and 8 breadsticks… All meals come with celery/carrots and your choice of blue cheese or ranch. Single meals are $ 7.25, Doubles are $ 14.50 and family meals are $ 25.00. Technically, the family meal is your best value, but you have to be really hungry or have multiple people in order to not waste food. Your sauce choices are mild/medium/hot/really hot and are you sure you want to burn your butthole in a few hours hot. They also have bbq choices as well as a sweet chili sauce. Tonight we went with single orders of mild, an order of medium, and a sweet chili. Everything was delicious! The strips themselves are pretty large and they are perfectly fried and sauced. The breadsticks are brushed with oil/butter? and have some garlic salt on them. They are just filler basically. The strips are the star of the show! They are really good! This is my wifes favorite spot to eat at in Kearny Mesa. I always try to convince her to go somewhere else, but she is pretty adamant on going here. Once I taste it and remember that it is actually pretty good, I am at ease. It’s never my personal first choice to eat at, but it is always pretty consistent, decent value for the money, and I’ve never had a bad meal from here. That has to count for something, right? I know I’ll be back the next time we are in SD.

The family likes Wings N Things. We get food from here once in a while. We usually get the family pack of 24 wings and 8 breadsticks. We mix it up and go half buffalo, half original barbecue and we like our wings extra crispy. They throw in a bag of carrots and celery along with dressing for dipping. Parking here can really be a pain during peak hours, but it’s like that for a lot of the plazas on Convoy. Sometimes you can find parking on the street. The place is clean and they have several televisions strategically placed around the restaurant usually playing sports. I like the sports memorabilia and jerseys they have decorating the restaurant. Service has never been a problem here for me. The menu and ordering is pretty straightforward. It’s your typical, standard Wings N Things.

Not bad for an $ 8 combo, however not too sure where does the boneless wings come from. Is more like fried boneless breast, can’t really tell if is actually wings.

If you know Wings and Things, then you’ll find this to be just as good as any other. This one is close to my new job so I have been here a couple of times. The parking lot can get a little crazy, just like any other Convoy spot at rush hours, but there is ample parking across Convoy. I usually get the 4 strip combo and I love their French fries. I wish they offered a smaller portion as a side instead of the bread(even if it was a little extra).

Wings n things is one of our family favorites. We can even bring the kids! I never noticed this before, but they have beer! No beer on tap, but they have Blue Moon, Heineken, Corona, And Bud Light. The bread isn’t that special, but we love love love it! We always get the double meal with strips $ 13.90 Hot! I also noticed they have salads. Buffalo chicken salad $ 5.59 Greek Salad $ 4.95 Garden salad $ 3.59 For dessert Cinna bites $ 2.50 Family pack $ 25.00 includes choice of 16 tenderloin strips, 20 boneless wings, or 24 original buffalo wings, 8 bread sticks, and veggies and dip.

Just wish they still had their appetizer menu and pizzas. I miss their fried mushrooms and buffalo chicken pizzas! :( Their menu is pretty simple now, still can’t complain since I love their chicken strips and bread sticks! My fav is the strip combo with bread sticks!

Food is good and portions are large. Each boneless chicken wing was at least 50% larger than what I typically get from the chain wing places. At first I thought the prices were a little high, but the portion sizes revealed that the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly. We were greeted when we entered and thanked when exited. Ambiance was«sports bar», but could double the number of TVs(3) to pull this off. The wings were done pretty well. Nice pieces of chicken and weren’t overcooked. Adequate sauce coverage, but light on condiments, two small containers for 20 wings… not enough. The buffalo fries were quite tasty. Limited beer selection, but did have ballast point sculpin, so that was nice. Overall a nice experience.
