Walker Elementary School

Poor curriculum. We enrolled our daughter here thinking it was a decent elementary school. About a month later we get a letter stating that it is part of an «improvement program». Basically the school has not met state test scores. The letter stated we could switch our child to a school that does not fall into this category but the schools that were offered were far away.
I was also surprised to see that there were some students did not know how to speak English at all! You, as a parent are doing your child a disservice by not teaching them english prior to attending a school in America!
The office workers at the school are rude and act like they hate life. They are not welcoming and make you feel like you are a disturbance.
This school is bullshit.

$ 7/​wk for kids taekwondo classes on Friday nights. Group class of about 20 kids and two instructors.

Bias? just a little…
I went here for elementary school and as I understand Walker has gone through lots of administrative changes since.
But the principal there now is amazing! She supports the Students, Staff and Parents 110%. She has only been here a few years but continues to make positive changes each and everyday.
