Vortex Data Systems

I took a three day Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Configuration course here at Vortex and for the most part I was pleased with my learning experience. Most of the classes are scheduled from 8am-​5pm, but mine did not actually span the whole time frame.
The MCTS who taught our course was very knowledgeable and answered a lot of the questions from his experience using SharePoint. The facilities were very clean and the computers were quiet fast. The sales associates were friendly and they gave us a bunch of junk food throughout the day in the Internet lounge.
Overall I’m going to dock a star for the very high price of the course and the lack of hands on time we had with configuring SharePoint. Other than that I’d definitely take another course from Vortex, but only if my company pays for it because it is so expensive.
