Everything is made from scratch, in house. The staff was super nice and helpful showing me around. Plus they gave me like 3 free samples!

Decided to do a juice cleanse i saw on groupon. Theres so many places and these have become so popular i figured id save money and try it through groupon. I called the week before and set up my puck up day. Drove on a sunday to pick it up. Its i side another shop so it was a bit hard to find but not bad. Theres some seating outdoors which was nice. The girls working there were very nice and informative. I have done juice cleanses before but not a full day. I had usually made my own at home with my meals. She gave me a pamphlet and instructions. I ordered an acai bowl as well. The acai bowl was definitely sugarless. I knew it was healthy hut most acai bowls at other places have some kind of sweetener added to them. Besides the not being so sugary and sweet, i liked it. The cleanse was easy. Had a hard time towards the end if the day with the 5th juice that had beets and fennel but the rest had a good taste to them. I liked the easiness if the cleanse and how helpful the girl was. Impressed by their menu so i will be looking to come back for another cleanse later on.

I’m from the Bay Area, I was craving a smoothie bowl and found this place. I ordered the Almond Butter Superbowl I put almonds, honey and blueberries on top. So good! So refreshing! I loved every bite. Such a treat. San Diego you are a great city, so glad I followed my craving. Wish we had Vitality Tap where I live. Wonderful!

So I’m in town on business and agreed last week to do a 10 day vegan challenge with a girlfriend beginning today June 1. Tough eating a restricted diet while traveling. I Unilocaled this place. Was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel. Totally worth the trip. The staff was pleasant and patient as I didn’t quite know what to order. I told the gentleman that I wanted something packed with greens that still tasted good and his recommendation was perfect! Everything is fresh, organic and healthy. No junk in your smoothies. I have one day left in town and plan to stop in again for breakfast tomorrow.

We found Vitality Tap purely by accident while we foraged for breakfast 3 days out of our 4-day stay in San Diego’s Gaslamp District. While grabbing a cup of coffee from Starbucks, we passed by this juice and smoothie bar that shares space with a health food store. There were constantly lines out the door and most of the outside seating would always be taken. I quickly checked my Unilocal app and found that they have been consistently rated 5-stars through over 440 reviews so, we knew we wouldn’t be steered in a wrong direction. When we stepped in, we knew that we wanted sometime healthy, nutritious, tasty and not heavy. The two women were busy whirring up some smoothies for customers who were in line ahead of us. What I liked was their immediate acknowledgement of customers who were in line. We were greeted with a friendly smile and cheery«Good morning, we’ll be right with you». Luckily, we had time to read the menu and choose our breakfast SUPERBOWLS. Each 16 oz. Super Bowl came with a choice of 3 toppings such as hemp granola, banana, strawberries, blueberries, mango, pineapple, almond butter, goji berries, chopped almonds, coconut flakes, cocoa nibs, bee pollen, hemp seeds, honey or agave. — Almond Butter: unsweetened açai blended with almond butter and almond milk. I’m a «creature of habit» and ordered this daily with banana, blueberries, and bee pollen. On our first day, the woman who made my super bowl accidentally added hemp granola and quickly came out to find us to ask if I had any allergies to granola/nuts. If I had allergies, she would make me another. Fortunately, I don’t have food allergies and told her so and she just added my 3 adds without additional charge for the granola. The unsweetened açai with almond butter was a smooth and filling. At first, I thought it a bit bland but the natural sweetness of the fruits made it more pleasing. $ 8.50
— Tropical: a blend of Pitaya, strawberries, banana and pineapple. My husband requested blueberries, granola and bee pollen. This Super Bowl was naturally sweeter than my açai. He found this bowl to be more pleasing than mine. $ 9.00 Their great customer service, portion to price and flavors are truly worth their 5-stars and then some!

Great service, cool place, and delicious bowls. Had the half and half bowl and asked the lady to surprise me with her favorite toppings — she passed marvelously with a blueberry/bee pollen/honey/coconut combo.

The girls were super kind and accommodating. The menu was fantastic and the quality is superb. I had the avocado toast… Bc I simply cannot resist. It was amazing! Perfectly paired on a toasted sourdough slice with hemp seeds and crushed red pepper. They also have other fun toppings as well! I have been here before and can tell you their juices, bowls, and smoothies are fantastic. Look forward to stopping in before departing back home.

Came here with my boyfriend after eating way too much fried food and wanted something refreshing and«healthy» to make us feel better haha. The lady who helped us was super friendly and offered us suggestions on what drinks would be best for our«cleanse”/detox and even gave us a sampler of the beet juice(super good and sweet, and I don’t like beets!) before we made our decision. We got the undressed greens(small size) which was $ 5 which isn’t that bad when u consider the price of most juice places. It’s filled with veggies and the only fruit in it is apples so let me say now that its not the sweetest juice you’ll come across(if you’re feeling wary, I’m sure they’d give u a sample!) but it’s pretty good too(none of that jamba juice sugar stuff). We also got the elixir booster that comes free with a Unilocal check in and she definitely gave us a fair warning that none of them taste the greatest but they give you that health kick and she was right. I got the detox shot(of course) and it has a super strong hot flavor to it which I know is to get your metabolism going. Big gulps help down it but it really does make you feel good after! My boyfriend had originally wanted the lavender lemonade juice but I didn’t let him since I thought it wasn’t «detox-y» enough and the worker was super nice and offered us one of their extra ones that they couldn’t sell because it was right at its sale date and like yo, free $ 7 drink? Yes please! Tips: –Like other people said, this is inside Nutrishop so look for that sign when driving around. –There isn’t exactly a parking plaza right next to the shop but there is some street metered parking. Since we were just going to get the drink, we stopped at the 15 minute green zone and paid less than a dollar for those 15 minutes which was fine. Do be careful to not go overtime because as we were walking back to our car we saw a ticketing cart stopped at a car in front of ours and write up a ticket :( –The staff told us that you get a free drink if you write a Unilocal review so don’t be lazy Unilocalers!(Unfortunately I don’t live in San Diego but I’m definitely going to drop by next time I’m in town!) All in all I can see why Vitality Tap has 5 stars. I hope to try out their acai bowls one day but for now, I can certainly recommend their juices for those needing their daily fruits and veggies.

this was a tasty juice spot tucked inside a health store. i got a shot with my Unilocal check in which i assume is very healthy because it wasnt particularly tasty. i did enjoy my fruit juice which included melon, carrot, and a variety of other fruits. it is a little pricey compared to the juice carts i am used to in NYC where a 16oz juice goes for $ 4 – 6 versus Vitality’s $ 8+.

I come to Vitality Tap a couple times a week for the stay classy juice smoothie(kale spinach pineapple oj banana…). It’s hands down the best smoothie/juice I’ve had. Today I went in for a stay classy and saw that they now have avocado toast. It’s SOGOOD. It’s smashed avocado with salt and lime on delicious toast. I added crushed red pepper and cilantro lime cashew cream. Best avocado toast in town!

I really enjoyed my experience with Vitality Tap. My Avocado Bliss Smoothie was great tasting and nutritious. My Protein Bowl was out of this world with 3 great toppings. Yummy, yummy, yummy. And then an «All day Energy» shot to finish. All 3 were my late breakfast and it felt so good in my body for hours after enjoying it. So grateful that my beautiful wife found this place among the many options in down town San Diego. You have to try this place. We need more Vitality Taps around the planet.

The staff, acai bowls and drinks at Vitality Tap are all so amazing. They serve all local, raw and organic ingredients, which was their main selling point to me. The first time I came I got the classic acai bowl with coconut chips and hemp granola and a manhattan mocha which they gladly substituted whey protein for rice protein for me(thanks!) Everything was so delicious and the breakfast kept me full all day basically! The I also tried the acai another time with bananas, strawberries and granola — classically delicious. My husband and I also got complimentary shots when we checked in — they were amazing and have things like MSM(one of my favorite supplements) in them. I was so happy to have acai bowls that weren’t artificially sweetened and just tasted natural and organic. The staff on both days I came were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back! Such a gem in downtown SD.

I love my acai bowls and had to stop here. The thing that won me over: option to add a scoop of almond butter on top. I opted for a bowl with almond milk versus coconut milk and because of this substitution, the cashier let me add another topping(usually only get 2) Score! Overall, a great place for some delicious acai bowls!

Bro, do you even juice? This place knows what’s up. The finest produce cold pressed/blended in to creative concoctions that deliver nutrients your body craves. Tyler whipped up a mean green ingredient, which I recommend to anyone looking to get their greens fix with minimal sweetness. The detox shot was great as well, just be advised to drink it right away or some of the ingredients will sink to the bottom and stay there. Unilocalers get a free shooter on check-in, so what are you waiting for?

After some serious holiday indulging I felt awful and needed to hit the reset button ASAP. Never in my life before have I ever had a desire to do a juice cleanse but this particular situation warranted one and I was on a mission. I walked in and they had the 1 day cleanse in stock so I bought a groupon on the spot and hoped for the best. The girls there are very friendly and knowledgeable and didn’t judge me by how much pie and toffee I had consumed over Christmas. I managed to complete my juice cleanse like a champ during a POTLUCK at work! I surprisingly wasn’t very hungry during it(drinking lots of water helps) and the juices really weren’t that bad. 2 of them are on the spicy side but I love spicy so I didn’t really have a problem. The 5th juice was the hardest for me but it wasn’t based on taste. I think I was just kind of over it by then and it was 6am(I work nights) and the thought of finishing it just gagged me. I couldn’t finish it, I left like 2 tablespoons in that bottle and ALMOST gave up. When I got home I decided to taste the last juice and I’m so glad I did because it was DELICIOUS. Tasted like horchata and I chugged it! I almost want to go back and buy a big tank of that stuff and drink it on the regular, it was the bomb. Anyway, I didn’t feel like a new woman immediately or even the next day. But like 2 days later I really started to feel good and like I was on the mend from those holiday benders. Mission accomplished.

WOW!!! What great friendly staff… and excellent products. Becca prepared our smoothies and went into great service mode to explain the menu. She even went the extra mile to research an ingredient sure to my wife’s allergy! I had the Manhattan Mocha and it was delicious. I can’t wait to return and try other flavors.
