Update 1÷19÷15 — Men’s cut is now $ 10.
Wandered in after having had lunch next door. This place has display cases selling lottery tickets & nail stuff, as well as a small nail salon area on one side, while the hair salon setup is on the other side. No frills type shop. Friendly couple running the place!
$ 8 cut for men — Minh is the barber. He doesn’t speak much but we showed him a picture of SO’s usual cut (which includes a fade) and Minh was able to replicate it pretty closely.

Wow. I finally found my go-​to place. Haven’t found a good nail salon in a while since I moved to San Diego 4 years ago. They did mani pedi for $ 22. And it turned out great. I added French tips for $ 10. I messed 3 of my nails up when I left the salon and I came in the next day and they gladly fixed it for free. Even threw in a gel coat so I won’t mess it up again!
They were super friendly and spoke English just fine instead of other places speaking Vietnamese making you feel a bit uncomfortable.
This place is definitely hole-​in-​the-​wall and they have hair services as well.
Ask for Cindy. She’s been doing it for 16 years or so as she told me.

Ok I finally found a GREAT! Place for all my hair needs. Both My wife and I go there! Come on $ 8 haircut? I use to go to the $ 7 place near Von’s and I felt as if I was a number more than a customer, Vanco Hair nail supplies is one of the BEST KEPT SECRET his name is Minh and has a touch of both Class and all the up to dates hairstyles! He gave me a $ 30 haircut for only $ 8 !!! Ladies My wife Looks so HOTT! when we get the «Minh Treatment» Best place in Mira Mesa!

I would totally recommend this place since in my opinion it has really good service & results. But also the associates have a warm heart warming feeling & interaction when u enter the store. And it recently opened with decent business.

Really, really small store. Items are in boxes on display and not marked with any labels. Labels please! Then you’ll be a lot more professional. Not a big selection at all
