This gas station has always charged 5 to 10 cents more a gallon, got that. But recently they’ve implement new pricing on their signage that confuses and hides the true price of gas here. Worse, their new pricing is 40 cents higher than every other station on this street.
— The sign now prominently displays a price on the top with a small caveat of «With Car Wash».
— Somewhere way down below on the sign, partially blocked by a large digital temperature screen, and definitely blocked by a mannequin holding a carwash sign, you can barley see the Without Car Wash Price” in this case it’s 20 cents more than the highlighted price, and 40 cents more than the price of other stations on this road.
After some investigating, this pricing is used to squeeze the many delivery /​constructions /​trade workers in the area that have company credit cards to pay gas. Obviously they aren’t going to be buying a car wash, but they will use the company card to buy gas no matter what the price.

I used to love this place and used it all the time being on the way to and from work. Then some genius decided to start deceiving customers with posting gas prices at one cost and charging you 20 cents extra per gallon. Asked the lady behind the counter and she said thats car wash prices posted. Don’t get a car wash and that 3.79 gas is now 3.99. Such a bait and switch slime ball move. I won’t use these guys out of spite now. I recommend you do the same!

Fast convient location at the edge of Miramar and La Jolla/​UTC — directly adjacent to a car wash as well so get your gas send your car thru the car wash and be done in 20 minutes — nice and easy
The small mini mart inside has some great stuff in a pinch — great drink selection, ice and quick snacks — better than some other smaller mini mart type places that are attached to other gas stations
Pricing here always fluctuates with the market pricing but stays competitive where it is more expensive as you head into La Jolla /​UTC so make this your gas stop if you are in that neck of the woods and avoid the more expensive places
