Bought something on the whim and already paid when I realized the guy working or probably the owner was really rude not just to me but to another paying customer… Wow?! First and last purchase. Located across the Starbucks is a great location… But customer service is a must especially if all you’re selling is lotto, gun and beverages. Thanks and Happy Holidays Bah Humbug.

Mags and touristy knickknacks like faux academy awards and San Diego shot glasses. They do have a good selection of salty snacks at reasonable pricing. — Cold bottled beverages offered here. — Vices(Cigarettes, Lotto, and Adult Magazines like Hustler are behind the counter). — Guy running the place is helpful. Note, if you order a non-adult magazine but request a bag you’ll get the black back of shame. If you didn’t know, that’s the bag they use to cover up adult magazines.

i wanted to purchase a single postcard before i left san diego and wasn’t sure if i could do this at the mall. low and behold, there was a newsstand, with the usual souvenirs such as mugs, key chains, pens, and of course… postcards, in an assortment of shapes and sizes. i picked one small postcard and was surprised to see that it rung up at $ 0.59! for a single postcard! guess it’s been a while since i last purchased a postcard, b/c i was expecting to pay $ 0.25 maybe $ 0.30. but since it was something i needed to get, i’m grateful that this newsstand was conveniently located in the middie of this mall.

Got an e-cigarette for my birthday from this business. Tried returning it and got the run around. Took calling at least once a day for 2 weeks before the owner called me back. This happened again when the worker wasn’t told I would be coming. Pain in the ass and at the end of it, he wouldn’t take it back and now i’m stuck with a nasty tasting e-cigarette that cost $ 86…

Seeing a dedicated newsstand in Westfield UTC may be a bit out of place, but as these are rare — to be honest, this is the only one I’ve seen in San Diego this far — it’s still a welcome sight for this news junkie to see nonetheless. There are plenty of newspapers and magazines to choose from here, and it’s relatively easy to find something to hold your interest at this newsstand.
