Unity of Three Massage & Bodywork

I went to go see James today because I’m a lash stylist. I do lash extensions and so the kind of work I do with my hands is very tedious. I developed inflammation in my hands/​forarms and upper body from my work. I’ve used massage therapy allot throughout life with regularity so I feel like I can say with complete certainty that James is amazing! He went right to all of the areas of my issues and worked on them with such skill and accuracy He’s kind, he listens very well, he’s gentle and considerate. I highly recommend James. He’s wonderful.

I got a sports massage to loosen me up before my first half marathon, and he did wonders! I’ve been going to the House of Pain (AKA Fix Body Group) for about five very painful, albeit necessary A.R.T. sessions for my hip and knee issues, and I just wanted to get some all over therapy to release tension before.
I feel ready for my first half marathon and will be coming back! Thank you!

I’ve had professional massages from plenty of people, and before I found James, I thought massage therapists were basically interchangeable. James is different. His level of excellence is hard to find in any profession.
James is very passionate about what he does, is continually working to make himself better at his craft, and is highly skilled and knowledgeable. I was in a car accident six weeks ago, and don’t know how I would have gotten through these months without him. The pain in my neck and back caused me to miss work (which I almost never do) and made it very difficult for me to care for my infant daughter. James takes the time to understand how my body is feeling before each and every massage, during the massage, and after the massage. If something in my body still isn’t quite right after the massage, he takes the extra minutes to work on those zones, and then he teaches me specific stretches to do at home to continue the healing process.
Prior to several of his massages, I was in so much pain that all I could do was sit on the couch grumpily with ice on my back and neck. Post massage, I would tend to have several great days in which I could go out and live my life, go to work, and be able to concentrate without constant pain. James is still helping me work through the injury, and while I am still not 100%, I can’t imagine the state I would be in without him.
Bottom line: James is incredible. He is especially so if you need help with a specific injury or issue.

A billion star rating! James is really, really good! He is a master at his craft. He can find every bump, knot, pain nodule and work on it like no other. I met James 2 years ago when he was at balance point and have since solely been going to James at his own practice ever since. He has helped me with a recurring back& hip issue and I recently saw him for tmj. Every time I go I can breathe better, walk taller, workout without pain. He’s amazing! Don’t hesitate call him!

James Armour works magic. He cured my wife’s back pain during both pregnancies and he’s the only therapist who can work out the knots I build up. Feels more like a month of PT instead of a massage. Truly gifted!

Having been spoiled by a fantastic masseuse who decided to retire, I was skeptical that I could ever replace her. So I asked who she got massages from, and she referred me to James.
Ahhh. That’s all I have to say. He’s well-​versed in different styles and knows how to address each lump, bump and sore muscle.

Five stars both for customer care and the actual massage. I called James seeking a same day massage after having headaches for 4 days straight. I was in pain and desperate for a quality massage. Though he was fully booked he managed to add me in to his schedule. The massage was wonderful and got me out of pain. James also gave me some simple exercises to help keep my neck more open, aligned and relaxed. Thank you!

James has helped me to function more completely in my everyday life, enabling me to live in a manner that was previously impossible. I am astounded and grateful at the progress I have made since I began working with him. OK… so here is the deal. I’ve had a ton of massages and a lot of them I do trade for since I’m in the industry. James is unbelievable! He is a MASTER in massage and twice now has completely made my shoulder and neck pain go away. Treat yourself to a REAL masseur who know his stuff.

James is super professional and is a great massage therapist. His bodywork session includes everything «under the sun». I felt immediate tension and pain relief after my session. I highly recommend James!

This is my second, and certainly not my last massage with James Armour, CMT. I have had massages for years, mostly by a trusted woman friend. I appreciated James understanding my reticence in having a male massuse. Minutes later, I was enjoying his professional,
skilled, and highly relaxing massage. I would recommend him to anyone (male or female a any age) who needs a master massage therapist.

I’ve been privileged to have had many massages from various people (as I am going to one of the best massage schools in the area) and James is by far the most intuitive and skilled massage therapists I’ve encountered.
