I discovered a clinical research trial that I qualified for by looking through the «volunteer» opportunities on craigslist. I emailed and asked a few questions which were promptly answered by one of the research coordinators and Katie and I set up an appointment time for me to come in and pre-​screen.
Wonderful directions were provided prior to me arriving and I had no problem finding the building amidst all of the other seemingly-​identical structures of the UCSD campus. Katie, the coordinator, made the entire process fun and painless and she was kind enough to answer all of my curious questions along the way.
If presented with another opportunity to participate in a research trial here I would, these people are great.
