The Solar Panel Experts

Nuts! Some guy from this company calling himself «Jeffrey» called today and asked to speak to the homeowner. I asked who was calling. He said Solar Panel Experts. I said, «Okay, one moment, please,» and asked my mom if she was interested in solar panels. She said «nope,» so I told the guy the homeowner wasn’t interested. The guy gives some sort of creepy and unsettling laugh, snaps, «Don’t play with me!» and hangs up the phone. I don’t know what type of company this is, but obviously, it’s a scam or just the most unprofessional company ever. I’ve never heard of any kind of behavior like that before. Dude might want to get a job where he doesn’t have to deal with the public.
Even if my mom does get solar paneling some day, she definitely won’t be going with these guys. We’re waiting for someone to call back

This company sent what appears to be a notice from my utility company. It tries to look official and touts an energy cost reduction program with NO COST TO SWITCH. This is really a lead generation company for solar installation contractors. There is nothing wrong with lead generation companies, but the marketing from this one is deceptive in my opinion. If you receive a pink notice from this company, it’s not from SDG&E. Shame on you guys for this kind of marketing.
