I absolutely love it here. I’ve been looking for a nail salon for years and I finally found one. Not only are Nicole and Leslie fun and great to be around, but they are also fabulous at their jobs. I haven’t never had a manicure last as long as when they do it! They are very clean, very organized and it is a great experience every time.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Loving Owl — it is such a welcoming and calm, professional setting. The prices are reasonable with a fabulous outcome– my nails have never looked better, and I always leave feeling like I’ve spent time with good friends! Nicole and Leslie are such open and caring people. I’ve lived in San Diego for seven years and searched for a good nail salon for so long before I found Loving Owl last year. It really doesn’t get better than this!

I love The Loving Owl. I just moved to San Diego. After a couple of mediocre nail appointments, I found the Loving Owl on Unilocal.The place is clean with a wonderful atmosphere. Nicole and Leslie are consummate professionals. Their online booking system makes it easy to set up appointments. Definitely the place to go.

These girls know whats up. Its clean, its cute, the service is impeccable, the price is right and the conversation is fun!
I have known both of the ladies, Nicole and Leslie for years– since they worked at another establishment. The quality is stellar! Do yourself a favor and get your manis and pedis at the Loving Owl. High five ladies!!! Keep rockin!!!

These ladies are very sweet and the location is beautiful, however I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the service I received. It is way over priced for the lack of attention received for their services. I paid $ 50 for a mani/​pedi and the service provider only painted my extremely short finger nails and lightly scrubbed and painted my toes. No lotion or hand/​arm massage, no foot massage. I booked this appt two weeks in advance expecting a stellar experience and received something I could have done on my own (and with more care). Definitely never coming here again.

Leslie and Nicole have indeed given us a «loving sanctuary». Their space is adorable and welcoming and the two ladies are THE best at what they do. They have an amazing energy to go with their professional talents. I am grateful to know them both and very happy to give them my nail business… OK and sometimes I give them «the business» too. They have senses of humor on top of everything else. Thank you, ladies. If I could I would give them all gold stars.

I recently starting going to Leslie after a friend highly recommended her. I’ve been getting gel for a long time and my nails were super thin. I was worried that getting regular polish wouldn’t last but after seeing my friends last for over a week I gave them a try. I have to say, regular polish lasts about a week with zero chipping! I cook and clean and my hands are In water a lot for work so I believe the staying power is product and great polishing skills. So happy I found The Loving Owl and Leslie. Prices are great too! 5 stars for sure.

Leslie is amazing! Hadn’t have a manicure ever since being in the military after deployments and field operations and this has to be one of the best experiences I’ve had. She was gentle and wonderful and really attentive to details. Highly recommend this place and her. Will definitely be back!

Loved this experience!
I felt like a Princess, in this quite oasis. The beautiful building, privacy and décor were so lovely and comfortable. My appointment was not rushed and the ability to be at a salon that is not jammed with dozens of people with equipment running was bliss. Leslie gave me a relaxing and beautiful pedicure including the sugar massage exfoliation. The results are perfect.

When I moved to Bankers Hill, I needed a new nail expert. I found this salon on Unilocal and it was in walking distance. I’m now a regular for 3 months with Leslie. She’s very pleasant and does an amazing job on Mani/​pedi. I’m sold. I also like how easy it is to make appointments online.

Hands down the best manicure I have ever had! And this is coming for a girl who prefers to do who own nails, because no one can ever get them perfect. But Lesile is amazingly talented and a bit of a perfectionist — which I greatly appreciate. The whole experience at Loving Owl was exactly what I was expecting. It’s very welcoming and personalized.

I can’t say enough good things about Leslie and Nicole. I was so excited to learn that they had moved to the neighborhood and they couldn’t have done a better job with the décor. The space is intimate and adorable. The ambiance is cozy, inviting, and relaxing.
My manis often last for several days, sometimes more than a week. My pedis usually last for several weeks, up to a month or so.
I also like the convenience of online scheduling.
Most importantly, these ladies a professional, friendly, and offer excellent service. I always leave happy.
