Warning do not use this truck. Stacey is extremely crazy. The food is lousy. I wouldn’t feed her food to my dog. This is the worse food truck in San Diego. Gross. If you want to get sick and spend two days on the toilet I would recommend this truck.

Wow! I can’t believe some of these negative reviews. The Inslider catered one of my charity events and was a huge hit!!! 100% positive reviews and plenty of return customers. Their service, staff and food is amazing! Stacey is a crazy, funny, kind hearted person who truly loves to give back to the community. If you see Inslider around town, please stop by for some great food and great service. Keep up the good work Inslider Team!

Stacey Werner is pure unadulterated, bottom feeding trash! She is unprofessional, rude and just plain disgusting! Don’t hire these people! If you have any issues, she’ll tell you«she’s from jersey. And she shoots it straight. It’s your fault.» Then she will post on Facebook about how you’re a «bitch» or an «asshole» and she wants to punch you! I am in utter shock how this woman is still in business!

I must say– Stacy saved the day for Kaplan College students and staff!!! After being cancelled on by two different vendors, Stacy got in contact with me and agreed to help us out of a big jam! We had a charitable event we were hosting to raise funds for the United Way– not only did Stacy provide a ton of food for free to feed our students and staff, she donated $ 500 to our UW fundraiser! We owe you one Stacy! Thanks for being a very kind and giving individual! Look forward to working with you again!

The owner, Stacey is rude and completely unprofessional. It’s a shame because her son, who works the trucks is very kind and rational, unlike his mother. She loves talking about how she is from Jersey with an attitude. I don’t know many people from Jersey but in San Diego when you run a business you don’t sit on your iPad and argue with your customer all day long about the most ridiculous accusations! Do not use this truck. I wish I had read these reviews first!

Sweet potato tots were great! Besides that they should stop advertising that they use local bread. Definitely all Walmart brands. The portobello was non-existent. Meh.

We had the InSlider truck out to our home at a party for 100+ people… everything was amazing. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful and they easily accommodated our request for gluten-free buns. I wouldn’t have changed a thing except ask them to bring more of those highly-addicted sweet potato tots! Wow. I’m going to be dreaming about when I can get some more of those things. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire the InSlider truck again; they made our party a big success, and freed us up to hang out with our guests. Thank you so much!

WARNING: DONOTTRUSTTHISCOMPANY! The pattern of 1– star reviews is an indication of how TERRIBLE this company truly is. Every year the company I work for holds a weekend long ranch party for friends and family. Two years in a row we have been let down by Stacey, the business owner, and her negligent employees. First Letdown: In 2014 my boss hired them to cater the ranch party. They actually showed up this time BUT they were an hour late, the employees in the truck were under the influence of drugs, and the food was cold, soggy and downright disgusting. Business owner Stacey felt terrible and assured us that they will make up our horrible experience and issued us a $ 500 credit. Seems like good customer service right? I thought so too… Second Letdown: June 2015– I started planning the ranch party and was told to rehire The InSlider so we can use our credit and give them a second chance. I called Stacey– no answer, her mailbox is full. So I emailed her, and eventually(a week or so after) she calls me back. I sat through her sob story of her losing her phone and not having time to listen to her voice mails and her phone carrier giving her a hard time(why is she telling me these things, so unprofessional). After her 5 minute long rant we discussed the purpose of my call, the party. She remembered us from last year and told me that she felt so bad that and she wants to take care of the whole bill, she wants to cater our event FORFREE! She said that she will take care of EVERYTHING and will be there with her son to run the show and make sure we receive the best food and service to make up for the previous year. The day of the event rolls around and to our surprise, Stacey and her team is no where to be found. We called her,(big surprise) her phone is busy. What is wrong with this woman? I thought I would have an email from her apologizing, or voice mail… anything, showing how sorry she is for standing up 50 starving people. NOTHING, she doesn’t care, she is awful. She doesn’t know how to run a business and this is EXACTLY why she has terrible reviews and most likely why her phone gets shut off. As a public service I urge you to STAYAWAY. Her food is obviously not worth your money and her lack of service is not worth your time or energy. Stacey, not that you care about your so-called«business» but if you do get your ipad or phone to work again I hope you read this. I also hope you understand how your actions and poor attempt at running a «business» is affecting you and the people that you come in contact with. Understand that we will never be using your services again, and I strongly hope that others who may consider your business read my review and know to STAYAWAY.

Wow, major let down. The food truck came to visit my office building at lunch time. Ordered 3 Insliders and fries for $ 15.75, one expensive lunch! No prices listed on the website or signs outside. Seems like they pick their prices daily :( The description says kobe beef sliders and on a lightly toasted bun from a bakery. What I got was a costco burger cut into fours and a dry bun from walmart. Since when does a slider consist of a fourth of one hamburger patty. Fries drenched in oil, not even crispy. I feel robbed of my money and dignity. Do they really think they can say one thing, give you another and expect to stay in business??? What a joke. The food truck business isn’t for everyone.

The slider was good but they never gave me my tater tots and seemed completely unorganized.

We hired The Inslider over Memorial Day weekend for our co-ed baby shower, and it was THEBEST experience. From start to finish, Stacy was in complete communication and made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. She even drove to our house about a month prior and did a complimentary/private tasting of all the sliders. I called tons of food trucks, and some never called me back, others had a CRAZY high minimum and were way too expensive. The Inslider truck gave each person tons of food for a very reasonable price. You can tell that Stacy cares deeply about her customers and the food is DELICIOUS! We would defiantly use her again for any future events! Thank YOU Stacy!

The InSlider truck rolled up to a house party over the weekend and started to pump out all kinds of deliciousness! I was able to get through the spicy hot Kobe beef«Cali“ente, the stripped down and savory InSlider, some of the flavorful truffle fries, sweet potato tatter tots(a must have even if you aren’t a fan of the run-of-the-mill sweet potato fries), and a little of the chicken sandwich. It was all awesome. I wanted to keep sampling, but my stomach would not allow. All the lettuce, meat and veggies were fresh, they make the fries fresh from a press, the buns were made that day and the service was great. Everyone at the party loved the food. The size of the sliders are not small, so be ready to get a lot of food(not sure why others here are complaining about the amount of food, as I could hardly get through two sliders and fries. Stacy and her crew did a fabulous job and were very hard workers. If you ever see this truck you have to check it out. Hire them for catering and your party will love it. Let them take care of your burger needs and enjoy the party!

The quality and quantity of the food does not match the prices. This truck is a joke. I wouldn’t recommend this food truck to anyone

I couldn’t even order from the food truck, the truck was filthy, their staff has a lack of hygiene. From the people that did order, complaint was for over priced menu.

$ 10 for 3 sliders otherwise $ 3.50 each at this food truck The burgers I ordered had burned buns and the meat was still very pink so I ended up having to throw them in my oven to cook them through. Even still, they were really not very good. Even the one veggie burger was flavourless. Food is food so I was filled up but not satisfied.

Food trucks are generally expensive, but the good ones have high quality and fast turnaround and interesting flavors. We had 45 minutes to eat lunch, and given the truck only makes sliders, how hard could that be to turn around quickly… The gripes were as follows: 1) $ 7 for 2 sliders, no fries 2) it took 45 mins!!! for 2 sliders to come out 3) the order was wrong, had cheese on both, but they did not come out with it Staff looked inexperienced, they ran out of truffles fries and had to refund some money to people. The food itself, was decent, bbq pork was better than the chicken. but for the size and wait its hard to justify recommending this place.

I wasn’t going to write a review(even though I thought the service was horrible) until the owner just yelled at my friend who she catered her wedding week ago. 1) They ran out of food!(common Unilocal complaint) 2) The food was ok. 3) Food took forever to get 4) The pricing was too high for what you got It’s pretty unprofessional to be a caterer & not have enough food.(Just saying) Not to mention to talk to a client & say things like: *Your friends and family all talked about you behind your back *Your family called you cheap *We knew that night you wouldn’t pay us *The bride didn’t know what she was doing *none of your vendors liked you Is extremely unprofessional!!! I’m sorry but for those who have more than 1 – 2 stars you’re apparently one of the luckiest Unilocalers out there when it comes to this company. Not to mention there seems to be a constant theme in which this owner likes to yell at unsatisfied customers rather than trying to work with them to fix the issue. This person never got the memo that customers are always right! Now to sit back & see the wonderful reply Stacy will leave for me…

In Slider was at our church for an event on a very warm night. I don’t know what’s(or if there is any) the agreement between the truck and our church on the pricing, but we had three choices: 1 slider with Fries($ 10?), 2 sliders with fries($ 11?) and 3 sliders with fries for $ 13. There was a note on their calendar saying they only serve regular fries as side for our event. However, there was an a la crate menu floating around, but I don’t think we were able to order from it(probably just bad communication between our coordinator and the truck and us regular people). Bummer. I was looking forward to try the truffle fries and sweet potato tater tots. Their set up was minimal. I was not sure why they had no light inside or outside the truck, people were joking«we sure hope they don’t burn the food» Our people scrambled to get them an extension cord and a light. It was so warm, the poor guy inside the truck cooking(I heard people call him Brad) was soak in his own sweat. I feel bad for him. I think our guys were trying to get them more light and may be even a fan. They only offered Ketchup and Mustard as condiments. For family of four, my sister and I figured with three orders of fries and total of 9 sliders, we should have more than enough food. With about 5 groups ahead of us, it took about half hour from staying in line to finally getting our food.(people ordered later, waited even longer than that) We ordered the In Slider, Hella Bella and The Babe sliders. We were handed one half-full container of fries with these 9 sliders. I felt like I was cheated out for our fries. However, since I do not have any reference of the serving size. I am giving them benefit of the doubt. I like the Hella Bella, wish the mushroom was a bit bigger in size(like at least same size as the bun AFTER cooking), the Babe was okay but nothing to write home about. I did not get to try the In Slider. Fries was just alright. Was it worth our 39 dollars, probably not(unless, if a portion of proceeds is donated back to our church, that would be a different story. But again, I don’t know if there is any agreement at all) They did stay longer than stated time(6−8pm on their calendar) to accommodate our people. There are room for improvement for Catering events for sure, so people won’t stand in line for an hour for their sliders and missing out the party inside.

These people ran out of most of their menu for the world cup event and took forever to get my food. For 6 sliders, tots and 2 sodas $ 28? I stood in line for 15 minutes, and then stood in line for another 15 minutes to get my food. The chicken was dry and they forgot about my tots. I asked for a refund and they gave me my money back for my tots. I know that most people can make a decent meal if you give them enough time, however with these events it test people and these people failed.
