I purchased the jar with the assortment of cheesecake filled cookies and I have to say, they are moist, fresh and delicious. Such a treat! My favorite was the oatmeal!

SOMUCHYESSSSS!!! Don’t be fooled by the strange store front. It’s part clothing store part cookie company. Don’t question it. Just BUYTHEFREAKINGCOOKIES! After hearing about this place via the weekly Unilocal,I decided to stroll over when I was in the neighborhood. The cashier was really friendly and explained the different options they have. It’s pretty simple. They’re cookies with cheesecake filled centers. $ 2 a cookie or $ 12 for a jar full of 6.(If you bring back the jar, you get to fill it for $ 10). I got two originals(graham cracker tasting cookie with cheesecake filling), two chocolate(chocolate cookie with cheesecake filling) and two chocolate PB(chocolate cookie with peanut butter filling). Once I got back into the car, I immediately tried an original. I actually said the words«OMG Mmm» out loud, then realized I was alone and probably looked crazy. But I couldn’t help it. They were so good! I will definitely be back for these cookies. The cookie itself is moist and chewy, while the cheesecake filling brings just the right amount of richness. I’m obsessed.

Don’t be fooled, this cookie company is situated in a clothing store. Go to the counter and ask for the cookies which are in drawers or the fridge(there are a few mason jars visible on shelves behind the counter). We sampled four of their options and were thoroughly impressed with all of them. They are a touch pricey for the size, but delicious and very original.

The Good Stuff Cookie company is quite literally that — selling some of the most delicious cookie/cheesecake hybrid cookies i’ve ever had. These cookies are amazing — and they also do shipping! Well worth a visit!

To start, the cookies are so damn good. Elliot is super helpful and may be a cookie genius. I live near the shop and had been wanting check it out for awhile, I now know I disserviced myself for not making it over sooner. Everyone needs to pick up a mixed half dozen.

Finally got a chance to drop by here after hearing about it on one of the Unilocal newsletters, and oooh. I’m so happy I did. Pretty neat place, with some merchandise available, but their set up is pretty simple. Cookies are in the fridge, flavors are on the board above and you decide how many you want(also jars of them are available!). Ended up with a German chocolate cookie and a peanut butter cookie which were $ 2 each. The cashier was super cool, and they do take credit cards. Trying the cookies out in my car and wow, such deliciousness. Crisp and chewy they were, which are my favorite types, and they had the perfect combination of flavor baked into it. I usually don’t eat full on chocolate cookies(my preference are snickerdoodles) but that German chocolate one was sooooo amazing. Hoping to come back here real soon(hello birthday present for someone!)! The only thing that’s stopping me from giving this a full 5 stars is the realization that I just paid $ 4 for two medium sized cookies. But once again, well worth a try and multiple return visits!

Cookies were pretty good. I didn’t realize they were all cheesecake filled, and even though I’m definitely not a fan of cheesecake at all, I was pleasantly surprised. I got the«trinity» pack which included snicker doodle, dark chocolate, and original. All were good and I ended sharing with some family members back at home who also loved the cookies. I’d recommend trying one if you’re around.

This is by far the cutest cookie shop I have ever seen! The cookies are divine as well. I got a jar of chocolate peanut butter and an oatmeal chocolate. Both were moist and delicious. They are kept refrigerated, but I let mine get to room temperature before enjoying. The cookies can be bought as singles or half dozen in a mason jar with their logo on it, pretty ingenious packaging, I loved it.

This place is dank! I was walking down G street with my girl after walking Horton plaza and from the corner of my eye I noticed a sick ass sweater that said 1904 and it was love at first sight. So I walked in to try it on and the guy was really friendly and chill. Didn’t rush me and kept a conversation with me. I noticed a retro soda machine on the corner n grabbed a bomb Mexican Coke. While I was drinking my Coke the guy offered me a cookie sample to eat with my soda. I tried the chocolate cheesecake and it was love at first bite. I got a fresh sweater, my favorite soda, and a jar of some dank cookies!!! When I found out they were homemade I gave them mad props and just had to support the neighborhood shop. Absolutely amazing cookies and fresh clothing. I left really happy I’m very glad I stumbled upon this hidden treasure. Definitely chill n cool environment keep it up I will be back for more!

I’m a bit confused. My friends and I went into this place and immediately said, where are the cookies? It’s a clothing/accessory store, with a refrigerator in one corner, and a counter. The guy says the cookies are all inside the fridge because most are stuffed with cheesecake. So I’m also not sure why everyone in these reviews keeps mentioning ice cream and cookies – he said they were just cheesecake. Then he said a couple were NOT cheesecake, but didn’t explain what those were. So, this means we weren’t able to see the cookies at all. No clue how big they were or anything… kind of weird. My friends and I each ordered a cookie and they were a bit small for $ 2 each. My snickerdoodle was tasty, but I wasn’t a fan of the consistency. The cheesecake on the inside made the whole cookie feel a bit… undercooked(even though I don’t think it actually was undercooked), and since it was in a fridge, it was cold. Just not my favorite cookie, but it was ok.

This place is pretty dope, you can shop for apparel and cookies at the same time. I was visiting from Seattle and my friend insisted that I try their cookies. I got a jar to bring back home for $ 12. There were 6 cookies, I had snicker doodle, chocolate and oatmeal raisin. The chocolate was my favorite. It was seriously the ! These cookies are really moist since they are filled with cheesecake. Snicker doodle was also bomb. I hate oatmeal raisin, never liked it but I decided to give these a try since they’re filled with chocolate. It wasn’t bad actually which was a surprise! The guy working the counter was really chill, he was polite and knew his stuff. My only complaint is that these cookies are kind of small for the price. They’re a nice snack and the concept of the store is cool.

so i was a little misled by Unilocal… i was trying to find an ice cream shop and I was brought here… ok…i’m not mad at you Unilocal because I did find an adorable cookie shop instead. This place is oh so cute! i didn’t have the heart to turn around and leave without buying something, so my son picked out a cookie… chocolate cookies stuffed with peanut butter. YUM! it was pricey for a tiny cookie… but good. Daughter was mad that they didn’t have ice cream so didn’t want anything… so we headed to find ice cream.

Love this little gem. Its a very simple concept; they only sale cookies(stuffed)! They are moderately priced, easily accessible, and down right YUMMY. I grabbed an original and an Oatmeal, I can barely eat a full one in one setting :-( Great addition to downtown… also check out there 5&Dime local apparel. #supportSD

Now they done did it now. They went ahead and combined two of my favorite things in the planet and created MAGIC. COOKIESANDICECREAM: my kryptonite ahahaa. My time in SD was a good one. When I was posted in 5&A Dime, this ice cream truck/food truck(Recess)was running a special event with the store and they said it would take about a half hour to get things going. I waited that full 30 minutes to try it out. So I was chatting with the owner of the company and whatnot and she told me they were from LA. I’m sitting there like«have I been living under a rock!!!» I’ve never even heard of this truck, but a first impression is always a good one and they certainly left a mark. They had this Cookie Monster ice cream sort of similar to Afters, or basically was the same haha you decide. But ANYWAYS, about The Good Stuff Cookie Co is famous for their cookies. I’ve heard legends from the day I was born and I finally tried them. Let me telllll you, if you don’t know you certainly know now. Their cookies are soooo good soft and chewy and full of good flavor. Did I mention they have cheesecake INTHEMIDDLE. Yes you read right; it’s gotta be against the law to have such greatness in a bite. They made me an ice cream sandwich with a German chocolate cookie, a snickerdoodle cookie and Cookie Monster ice cream and as I chew into that sucka it was EXTRA creamy or chewy and just blown away when I found out it was cheesecake. Yall better get out from under that rock of yours and get to The Good Stuff Cookie Co. Believe the hype.

These cookies are some of the BEST cookies I have EVER had… I’ve always been a fan of the crust on cheesecake and always wished there was more crust than cheese cake… I happened to come across this place on my way back from work– I took an alternate route and noticed the vintage-y sign out front on the 5&A Dime… I parked at home and walked back… inside the shop has black and white checkered floors, a vintage oven and refrigerator… the owner also sells apparel… Two men with beards and a young lady asked if I was looking for cookies and offered me a sample… We had a pleasant chat about cookies and I bought one of each… I would GLADLY pay two dollars per cookie here– the idea is original, the owners are super friendly, and the cookies are AMAZING! WELLDONE… I’ll be coming back…

I was wandering DT/Gaslamp with my family visiting from out-of-town and my sister is forever searching for baked goods. We had some time to spare so I searched to find any bakeries near by and came across this place, which is located inside the 5 and A Dime clothing shop. When we walked in we were surprised to see there were no cookies, but a very awesome throw-back kitchen with the old skool fridge! Apparently, these cookies are cheesecake cookies so they must be refrigerated and cannot be displayed; however, they are available for sampling. Currently they have 4 main cookies with original and chocolate cheesecake being the most popular. The concept of this shop originated from the owner wanting to eat cheesecake and the crust but not eat an entire cheesecake thus the evolution of Good Stuff Cookie– a bite size cheesecake«cookie» to satisfy your cheesecake craving! This place is barely a week old, so it’s still coming full circle but I’m sure with more time, they will expand their menu. For the concept and novelty and good service, I’d say give it a whirl if you want some cheesecake bites!
