Décor is simple. Wine list impressive and almost everything available by the glass. A short but lovely bottled beer and cider list too. The Gouda potato soup was AMAZING, as was the chopped salad. Topped it off w stout crème brulee just sweet enough. Wished we’d had room for the red wine ice cream! Waitress really knew the menu and the wine list. Simply a lovely light dinner to end a lovely day. Highly recommended!

Tuesday is happy hour all day, rest of week is 3 – 6. White sangria is very good, fig & prosciutto flatbread is excellent, along with the goat cheese spread(although shouldn’t have to pay an extra $ 2 for more bread to eat the rest of the dish, provide enough to start with). Wait staff is very nice and attentive. Would come back.
Over Thanksgiving weekend we stopped by «The Flight Path» for a cocktail. This establishment is located directly down the street from the Santa Fe Depot downtown San Diego(walking distance). The atmosphere was comforting and quiet. They have a simplistic elegance with a pop of flair décor. It was very clean and polished. The waitress was friendly and soft spoken and she allowed us to take our time and relax into the peaceful setting. Today I tried a glass of(Tempranillo) it was smooth, light with mild flavors and we topped this off with a glass of Tawny Port which was very good: robust rich flavors. There is a lot to choose from on the menus something for everyone: a variety of food for lunch, dinner and happy hour. Be advised that the restrooms are located down stairs outside of the restaurant and are shared by the other local business in this building. They were very well maintained and in great condition.

It’s a no thrills place imo… I went here for a speed dating event and the place just looks like it could be in any trendy area. They don’t serve alcohol aside from wine and sangria, so if you prefer something else, you won’t get it here. Service was fine. There’s meters nearby and they are free after 6PM. Wouldn’t return, but if I had to go back I’d live.

This is a terrific find! Peaceful interior, good drinks, and a delicious happy hour menu. This review does not include their dinner menu. We had the vegetable soup) all freshly made with outstanding taste of new vegetables, couscous in a delicious broth. Then their veggie ceviche that was out of this world served with warm toasted pita. The goat cheese with bread(who makes that luscious bread?!) was mixed with jam and pesto. My husband liked it a tad more than I. Our sangrias were good but could have been better. A sweeter red wine and more fruit wounds made it an A*. You can’t beat the service. Very friendly and swift. We will be back for sure.

We were riding bikes around the city and found this place. I had the Proschotto and Brie sandwich and a glass of Chianti. I felt the sandwich was OK but nothing to go out of the way for. The place was nice and clean. The service fine. The wine OK.

Came in here for a lil snack got a cheese & charcuterie trio that consisted of the following Italian Truffle cheese Sage infused white cheddar And Prosciutto Presentation wasn’t good I have myself have experience with cheese I was a cheese monger I have had many cheese boards from different places and I have to say I was pretty bummed out First time a cheese and charcuterie board doesn’t come with any pairings no jam, no cornichons nothing. The person that works there is super friendly and has a big smile it’s sad that she was probably the best part of place.

I’d really love to give more stars to this review but I just can’t dig deep enough to find any additional positive things to say. Is it aesthetic? Yes. Is the wine good? Yes. Unfortunately, that’s about all this place has going for it. We had 4 different food dishes, none are even worth mentioning. The wine however, was very good. We can get good wine anywhere though. Our server was as nice as she could be. Sorry to say, that doesn’t make up for the lack of flavor in the food. Next time we will fly right past.

There was absolutely no «clunks» while visiting the Flight Path. The service was wonderful. Tammy was gracious and accommodating. She never left us dry and was nice enough to walk us through the happy hour menu. The food was fabulous! The goat cheese spread was lovely and paired perfectly with my red wine. The Vegetable Ceviche was unique and refreshing, a definite win on a summer day. The atmosphere was perfect: simple and clean. The music was relaxing. I had a lovely couple hours with my bestie in The Flight Path.

Maybe we came at an off time? We were excited to try this place, but it was totally dead inside. My friend liked the décor, but I thought it was kinda sterile. Their wine list is nice. I ordered the bacon and brie sliders, which, for $ 13, were good, but not amazing. My friend got some tomato soup, which was good, but not amazing either. She also got one of the flatbreads, which I didn’t try. We left underwhelmed.

Love this little wine bar! Great nightly happy hour with diverse selection to chose from. Tammy, the owner, is great. She will introduce you to some of her regulars so everyone is chatting in the room. The food is delicious; the gougeres, sliders and flatbreads are full of flavor and presented with modern flare. Pro tip: happy hour runs all night on Tuesdays!

A group of us came in for Happy Hour and the overall ambiance was great but the food was a real let down. We ordered one of everything and nothing stood out. All of the HH appetizers are $ 4 and glasses of wine are $ 6. The Parmesan & White Truffle Gougeres were awful. They were extremely dry and hard. The Baked Fresh Goat Cheese Spread was OK but had a little much pesto flavor. The Bruschetta is not really deconstructed and has way too much garlic in it and I am a garlic lover! The portion size of the Caprese Salad was quite small even for a HH plate. The Vegetable Ceviche was probably the best dish but it was also very small. The flavors were light and refreshing just wish it was a little bigger. The Trio of Olives is just that… a trio of olives. Again nothing special. Our waitress was attentive and nice and overall we really enjoyed ourselves but I think I will check out other Happy Hour places before I come running back.

We had a great time at The Flight Path and found it on iDine. A great experience and deserves another visit! The Flight Path is a cute, contemporary, and trendy place that is nicely tucked away in the quiet part of the city. It’s a perfect getaway to relax and enjoy with a small group or date. This visit is all about the service due to Belinda. She made our visit a fun and pleasurable, due to her being super helpful, friendly, animated, inviting, and more! The menu has a good assortment of choices for light eating and global wines. The pours are good with great wine flight choices. My guest liked her Sangiovese wine suggestion. The Pinot Noir Flight was a good choice as well. We also tried the tasty and cheesy Gougeres, which was a perfect pairing with our wines; along with the Prosciutto & Pineapple flatbread.

Cute, clean, trendy & chic wine bar downtown. The lady working when my boyfriend & I went was VERY friendly & seemed very knowledgeable and passionate about wine. We had a couple wine flights & had an amazing salad. Definitely will be back!

We stopped in after a happy hour at Stone, and really enjoyed it. Cool, atmosphere, some really good wines, and tasty food, too. And friendly service. Only downside is that it is so LOUD! There were only about a dozen mellow wine-drinking folks in there — mostly couples and women, but it was almost deafeningly loud. Maybe they can work on the acoustics. But on a positive note, liked the wines(esp the Tempranillo and Zin); the carneros wasn’t do good. Caprese salad and turkey sausage flatbread were great; I’d definitely come back. Happy hour: 4 – 6 pm: «Business Class» wines for $ 6/glass or First Class wines for $ 8/glass. Nice — no coach for us here. Plus — apps for $ 4: olive trio, gougeres, goat cheese spread, bruschetta or Caprese.

Camilla and BCBP have been wondering about this place for awhile. We all love wine, Camilla loves flying, and we seem to pass by this place a great deal. We decided on happy hour and arrived on a Friday to a more or less empty place. That was fine with us as Camilla really likes to have extra attention. The staff are amazing! They are really helpful and I have nothing bad to say about them. Five stars for them! The menu seems pretty good with $ 4 bites and different by the glass specials. The pour was good however the wine list for happy hour did not elicit rave reviews from me. It felt average. I will say the pours are good! The HH food menu is interesting but let me down. The caprese salad was truly meh and small. The basil on top did not seem fresh and there where only two slices of tomato and mozzarella. The deconstructed bruschetta was a real let down. Way too much garlic and less of a deconstructed dish and more like a «here are the bread pieces on one side the the plate and your topping in a bowl next to it.» In all this place doesn’t offer anything the other places don’t have except maybe nicer staff. The bruschetta had a criminal amount of garlic and over all for an HH you could do better elsewhere.
