I have now had 3 massages here each with a different therapist and they have all been wonderful experiences. The office is clean and unpretentious. The prices can’t be beat for the quality of the massages. I liked it so much I bought a membership, which basically makes a 90 minute massage affordable to have done on a regular basis. The location is convenient just off 5. Parking is easy.

I am a bodywork therapist and Debbie is my go to for receiving massage. She really knows her stuff, is always kind, listens w care and gives a great session. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Atmosphere is relaxing. You can hear some outside noise, but when the treatment is good, all that fades away. Not a spa and doesn’t pretend to be one. They provide good service at a reasonable price from knowledge hands. Every therapist is different and you just have to find the one that works for you. Debbie is fabulous for deep and therapeutic work.

I received a referral from my co-​worker to see Anna Stone for a great massage. Anna was kind, her energy was calming, and her hands were amazing. I highly recommend those of you reading this review to give The Center for Massage & Holistic Therapy a call. Ask for Anna — she’s great.

I lucked into finding this place as I had an unused Spa Finder gift certificated that I wanted to use. Had a deep tissue massage with Amanda and she is great! I’ve been having trouble with neck and shoulder issues and she know how to work out all the bad spots. I just had a hot stone massage with Amanda that was equally great. This place is a real find! You will not regret it. I became a member and am planning to finally get those regular massages now that I have found a consistently good place.

This time I did the 100 minute aromatherapy deep tissue massage with Debbie F. If you’re a fan of this particular modality, Debbie’s technique is awesome. I am a cancer survivor and still have my port. After getting my doctor’s release, Debbie exercised care in that particular area. She was also sure to ask me if the pressure was just right or needed adjustment. I had a most relaxing and therapeutic experience.

I have been coming here for several years. I have been seeing Cassie for over a year. Cassie does an great job of finding and working out the knots that are really bothering you. Even if you do not tell her exactly what needs massage, Cassie has the ability to zero in on all of the areas you need worked on and works them out. She is absolutely wonderful, listens to your concerns and bottom line… gives an incredible massage… I can’t say enough about just how wonderful she is…

Ana is from heaven! She is the best masseuse I have ever had. I don’t need to tell her anything about where I have issues, she can find every little knot and problem area. Ana works them out without causing pain. After having massages all over the world, she is by far the best. We are lucky to have her in San Diego!

This place is hands down amazing. My therapist Anna was spectacular! Easy to find off the 5 freeway in Sorento Valley. So happy to have found this place– by far one of the best massages I’ve ever had! I’ll be back soon :)

I love that this is located within walking distance from my work. I came here because I was experiencing soreness in my legs and headaches. Debbie was my massage therapist and she was amazing! I felt very relaxed afterwards. I recommend her. The only tiny compliant I have is that it’s located right next to a very busy intersection. So you can sometimes hear the honking of cars, the train, ambulance, etc. But it’s definitely something you can overlook. For first time customers it’s $ 55 for a 60 minute. I would consider coming back.

I had a massage today by Anna Stone and it was literally the best massage of my life. She mixed deep tissue massage and Swedish massage and I feel wonderful. Her hands are amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. They also offer a discount for first time customers. Such a great place! Definitely going back again.

My husband and I went here while we were on vacation in San Diego and had a great experience! I received a prenatal massage and he received a deep tissue massage and both were fantastic. We will definitely be back if we come out here again :)

I’ve been going here for years. Their prices are good and their quality is excellent. I’ve seen several therapists here and I’ve never had a bad massage… not even a meh massage. They’ve all been good — great.
I am partial to Debbie. She is always pleasant, super easy to talk to (eg if you need her to ease up or apply more pressure) and she has great technique. This is one place you’ll never regret going to.

Finding a good massage therapist can be a task as one is always is missing something that the other doesn’t have so you end up going to a few different ones… at least I have.
I came here on a fluke after seeing their first time $ 20 dollar off special. I got Debbie, and she is the best!
I came back a second time just recently, and it confirmed my trust in her and this place. The staff is super friendly!!! Office isn’t as modern or updated as most other trendy massage places, and the room inside is adjacent to the neighboring 5 Freeway and from time to time a train will come by and toot its horn, but the noises don’t bother me at all. The room is beautifully decorated, huge, dim and smells good with the candles they light.
Debbie is the best when it comes to deep tissue massages. She knows exactly where your knots are, and works them out until they arn’t even there! She doesn’t use elbows or much of it, she has strong hands and fingers and makes sure each area is less stressed and the knots are practically gone before moving to the next area. Debbie is professional and is a true expert.
Parking in the back, walk through the gates and round the corner and you are there!

I came back from an 8-​day travel/​cruise from Alaska and just felt needing a massage. I was a member quite a while ago so I was on their E-​mail distribution list. Thank God I never unsubscribed so I would always receive their ‘specials’. Anyway, I called on Sunday as soon as I got off the plane, having planned an extra day off to laze around. Made an appointment, and thankfully, it was with Anna Stone. OMG. It was the best deep-​tissue massage that I’ve ever had. Hands down, the BEST! I am already planning to call and make another appointment for next month (or sooner). I paid for membership so I can take advantage of their discounts.
If you’re thinking of a massage, this is the place to go. And ask for Anna Stone. She is the best!!!

Debbie is hands down the best masseuse that I have had until now! She was great back in early 2014 and she is even better now. She worked wonders on my knotted shoulder and back muscles earlier and now I went for a prenatal massage and she was even better! Even though I asked for medium pressure for my pre-​natal massage, she made sure i was comfortable with the pressure and applied higher pressure where I could take it and gave such a deep relaxation to my sore shoulders and neck and helped relieve the pregnancy aches! I can’t wait to go back to her next month!

I have now been a regular member of the Center For Massage and Holistic Therapy for over two years and can’t go without its benefits, I have made it part of my lifestyle to go at least once a month as it contributes to my «wellness» in more ways than one.
I have had massages to address a number of aches triggered by sports or work-​related stress and have always come out feeling better, relaxed and rejuvenated.
I have also had the benefit of having had massages by many of the staff, starting with Alexis, one of the owners, Cassie, Jackie, Anna and Janice, and though each one has their own technique, in every case I can say that they have had incredible healing abilities when concentrating on the areas where I have described to have particular aches or pain. And even without aches or pain, I still go every three weeks just for the relaxing qualities of the experience.
