Ordered take out from this place, and was not disappointed. Even though it’s slightly on the pricier side in my opinion, they do have give a pretty decent portion. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready, that being said though, not sure how it normally is, the restaurant was pretty quiet when I went to pick up the food but hey not gonna complain about fast service! The restaurant is located on a corner, 30th is pretty busy but if you turn left, that street was pretty empty when I went around 6ish for parking. The only thing I have to complain about is that they don’t have an online website for menu– I feel like that’d be pretty important to have if you’re going to allow delivery, and also for the menus that are just around online by third parties, no pricing. so wasn’t a fan of that either. But if that’s the most that I have to complain, really not much.

The food here is ok, I would have given it a 3 star but the rice wasn’t cooked well. I just wouldn’t go here when street side and Bangkok spices are around

The food was great, however the place didn’t feel clean! They definitely need to remodel their restrooms and the booths in the front are kinda ugly. If they do some simple remodeling I think this place will have more customers.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly, menu has tons of choices and we haven’t tried anything we didn’t like. Their special house lemonade is SUPER satisfying if you get it with a spicier dish.

The restaurant itself is no thrills but the food is delicious and staff are friendly and helpful. I had the Pad See Ew and the Crab Wontons. Both were delightful.

Had a lunch date with my friends yesterday. The food was great, service was great as well. The portion size was huge, you really get your money’s worth when you come here. Most places skimp on the food but we all had leftovers to take home which was awesome. I felt really bad because our server«cat» was the only one serving and bussing tables the whole time. Despite the lack of employees the service was great, she was sincerely nice and kept apologizing to everyone. I would definitely recommend the manager hire more staff or give this girl a HUGE raise for her amazing service! I would definitely recommend coming here, and I will be returning but only if the same server is working since i think it was the best service I’ve ever recieved. Ps get the sticky rice to finish it off

I wanted to get Thai food for my bday and we came across Thai Time while driving in north park, and seeing that it had good reviews, we decided to check it out:) It was quite small inside, but cute:) there was one girl working, she greeted us and showed us to our table. Then we saw she was going to be our server too! She was doing it all! But I gotta say, she was pretty good. Not once did I feel like I was waiting forever, and she was on top of our beverages too! I asked her name, it was Kat=^.^= She’s super sweet, and even brought me this big mango with sticky rice dessert for my bday, and it was heaven! Me and my sister devoured it! I’d say check this place out for sure. Oh and the Thai teas was delicious too;) get one!

Well we ordered take out, the Pad Thai and the Thai Time Basket. The Pad Thai was correct and decent, but they sent us home with a Thai Time Duck. I should have checked the order before I left, but I guess I thought they could get it correct. Very disappointing to find on e you get home. Even if I was ordering the duck, it was very underwhelming and rather dry. Tried to call and let them know, hoping to run back up there to get the right order, and she hung up on me. So needless to say, I don’t recommend this place, the service was poor and the food was very underwhelming… not to mention there was only one couple in the restaurant went we went to pick it up.

Ok, so the décor isn’t much, but I regularly come here for take out and it is great. The food is excellent, and consistent. I call 15 minutes ahead of time and it is ready when I get there. The people at the counter have always been very pleasant and friendly. So cheers to this local thai restaurant.

Found this gem just a few months before I moved out of the neighborhood. Everything is amazing. I usually get their cashew chicken lunch special and share the Thai time salad with my dining partner. Sometimes service is a to slow, but not bad by any means. Overall, food amazing, service fine, and prices can’t be beat.

This is a great restaurant with excellent Thai food. The service is good, prompt, and efficient. This is a great place to eat out with friends or anytime you just want some really good Thai food. I love their Chicken Pad Thai.

Thai time is my favorite restaurant as of December 2015. I order the yellow chicken curry at least once or twice a week. If you like curry this must be the best place to experiment in San Diego

I came in with my Thai Thursday crew. We all ordered noodles and all enjoyed them! However, the spice level here is out of control. They have a big note by the register warning people that their chilis are HOT. I cautiously lowered my normal 7, to a 5 – 6. Oh my gosh, my dish was so hot I could barely eat it. However, I really loved the flavor, it was just soooo spicy. They left a carafe of water on the table, which was epic. They servers were also fast to refill it! The décor is minimal, but fine. It was pretty empty on a Thurs., so we were able to sit and talk after without feeling rushed. Parking isn’t great around there, but I got lucky on the street. I’ll be back, but I’m lowering my spice level to a 4(a first for me)!

Came here on a rainy Saturday afternoon to get out of the rain during a walk. It seemed almost empty at first, but it was between lunch and dinner times. As we were eating the place seemed to fill up. Service was pleasant. Though after it got busy, felt like it was a bit of a wait to get our check. Food — very good. The curry with duck was good though some of the duck pieces a bit grizzly. The Thai basil garlic dish was fantastic and had just enough heat(you pick the spiceness of your dish). Beer was nice and cold.

On our search for the best Thai fried rice in my area, we came upon this place. Reviews were good however that was not my first experience. We ordered Thai Time Fried Rice and Seafood Combination Specialty. Fried rice has peanuts and pineapple, very odd, not my type of fried rice and I get some people like that so this would be the place for you. Rice was too clumpy and wet for me, I prefer fluffy and light. Seafood combo way too much salt and shrimp overcooked. Thai One in Vista still makes the best Thai fried rice ever! My search continues for the best Thai fried rice in my area . Also parking sucks, its a pain to park a mile away!

Oh my god. Perfect flavour! Stir Fries Vegetable stir fry in oyster sauce was light and lovely and the veggies were very fresh and crispy. Thai time basket — very good sauce with tasty crispy noodles Go! You’ll thank me.

3* and one half is what I am rating my simple order of salad rolls and ‘tempura’ calamari 5* on the service! the gals in here are super nice and accommodating. The salad rolls were really good, although I believe traditionally they are supposed to have Thai Basil in them. They didn’t. The size and amount of veggies and shrimp were good, and they were loaded, filling and kind of refreshing. I go for it with hot chile sos, peanut sauce,…soy. The calamari… big; [ Wow– talk about camouflaging the crap out of something. Was this a game of ‘hide the calamari? or wha?! When I was dissecting the friend little crunchy chunks– [ and seriously, there could have been KFC or Mickey-D’s Mc Chunkalunits in there… just the tentacle part of calamari NOT the delish steak part of this tender creature. I just couldn’t eat them in the state they were given to me, and for $ 9 bucks for this app, I expected a better preparation, lighter batter, s&p. Hope they improve this item. I will go back for a noodle dish. Honestly, Thai Time has stood the test of time and they should be more accurately judged on Pad Thai, or a noodle dish I believe to be totally fair. P. S., thank you for the sweet gal who went through the kitchen and grabbed me some Hoisen sos; ]

Decided to try out this little hidden spot and boy, am I glad I did! They have a few lunch menu selections(wooo hooo! I love discounted food) and a big variety of entrees and sides from the regular dinner menu. The inside is spacious, has lots of tables and a few booths against the wall. So food, I got the spicy noodles which is their version of the drunken noodles. I went in for lunch so my entrée came with soup, a tiny salad, one egg roll and a wonton. The noodles were great… especially for the lunch price. The rest of the side items were meh, I’ve definitely had better. Overall a chill spot though. Easy parking right out front and good food. I shall return soon thai food! :)
