I have been Tammy’s client for YEARS — I cannot even remember how long 10+ for sure. She is a genius with her scissors, color, everything. She takes her time which I appreciate since I have super thick hair. She cuts your hair first when it’s freshly shampooed, and then re-​evaluates if it needs any additional trimming after it’s blow dried. I cheated on her once when I was in college and went to a SuperCuts or something in Santa Barbara and my hair got butchered! I will NEVER let another stylist touch my hair except Ms. Tammy.
Remember in life you get what you pay for and your haircut is worth every penny after a haircut with Tammy.
Even my mother (the pickiest person on planet Earth) gets her hair cut by Tammy. :)

I’ve been going to Tammy for over 8 years now and I feel so blessed to have her as a hairdresser and friend. She is incredibly consistent, listens to and delivers on all of my detailed (high maintenance!) hair requests. :) Tammy is a perfectionist and will go above and beyond to make sure that you have the exact cut, color, etc. that you want.
Not only is she an amazing hairdresser (for an incredibly reasonable price to boot!), she is a sweet and caring person too. I could not more highly recommend Tammy.

I have been going to Tammy for a little over a year now and couldn’t be happier!
First, and most importantly, she does a great job! She takes her time and I never worry that she’s going to go all buck wild with the scissors and take off more than I want!
Second, I have a «difficult» haircut, as it’s very different in the front than the back, which is hard to have look right in the first place, but she does it great! Even when it’s hot out and I want it super stacked/​short in the back, she manages to do it exactly how I envision & she never tries to «do her own thing.»
Third, even though she could, she never bothers me or harrasses me to try to upsell products. She answers my questions and if I feel like I want product I get it, but if not, she isn’t telling me it’s «the only thing» that will work for my hair.
I have had my hair cut, colored and updo styled by her in the past year and she has done an amazing job at all of it! My updo wasn’t easy (since my hair is markedly shorter in the back than front) but she managed to make it look so good that you would never know my hair was short at all!
Honestly, I have always been a «last minute» gal, but with Tammy I finally found a hairdresser that I am willing to make an appointment with EVERY time. Thanks Tammy! :)

Been using Tammy for quite sometime! Fabulous color, highlights, and cuts every time. She never takes short cuts or rushes. She always takes her time and does an amazing job. I would highly recommend her!

Have you ever gone to get your hair cut and told the stylist exactly what you want, only to have them disregard what you’ve said, do something you hate, and then you walk away unhappy? THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN WITH TAMMY.
I have very full, curly, unruly hair… I have been to many stylists and come away unhappy. But Tammy evaluated my hair, listened to my concerns, and we came to a cut and style that works great for me. She is very talented, and very experienced.
She is also fairly priced, and you will feel like a movie star when you leave the chair. I always walk away with cute bouncy hair, completely satisfied with her work.

I go to Tammy at Richard Joseph Salon for a Brazilian Blowout. I have tried this service elsewhere and other stylists pale in comparison!!! Tammy is AMAZING! She takes her time, takes pride in her work and it shows in the outcome!!! My hair which is naturally curly, is extremely straight, shiny, beautiful and the best part of all, it lasts for up to 5 months! What once took half an hour to dry and flat iron my hair only takes me 10 minutes from start to finish. Tammy is the ONLY person to go to if you are looking into getting a Brazilian Blowout! You will NOT be dissapointed!!!

I started going to Tammy at Richard Joseph Salon once I moved to Hillcrest about a year ago. She is amazing, and I can’t imagine my hair not being worked on by her. My hair needs Tammy, like I need food to live! She knows my hair better than I do, and that is why I go to her at least 1 – 2 times a month. Let her work that magic on your hair.
