How sad! This place only has one star. I don’t know if the quality of this place has gone down or what but about 2 years ago, this place was my favorite go to tamales restaurant. I sometimes wish I didn’t move away because I miss coming here. I first discovered this place when a friend brought these delicious hot tamales to our house from their restaurant near the border. Oh my goodness, I never tasted anything so stinking good. The inside of the tamales was creamy and the meat consistency was perfect. My favorite tamales are the chicken ones. These tamales were so good that my friend and I drove down to their Chula Vista location to buy a whole dozen of tamales, rice, and beans. Their beans are little special because they put meat inside. I’ve never had it like this before so the beans were unusually tasty(I usually hate eating beans of any kind). When their PB location opened, I was thrilled. I didn’t have to drive so far anymore. The shop is a little dirty but the food is so so good.

I loved tamales but these tamales were not done. The meat was not cook. Also, these are very expensive for non be home-made tamales or traditional tamales straight from mexico.
