We had Sweet Treats Ice Cream Truck come to our Corporate function and serve Ice Cream bars as our dessert after lunch, it was PHENOMENAL! Service was outstanding, and ice cream was yummy, SO delicious! SUPER fun even as an adult when you hear the sound of an ice cream truck coming, you know it’s going to be a treat!

This truck was parked in the perfect spot somewhere along Christmas Card Lane on a drizzly night. I had barely finished saying I wished I’d grabbed a hot cocoa when I noticed the truck on the next block! They have hot cocoa, but also hot espresso drinks, water bottles, and treats like cookies, brownies and cupcakes. The man running the truck was very nice. The prices weren’t listed in front of the items, and everything was a bit overpriced, but I suppose supply & demand comes into play there. We paid $ 7 for a small hot cocoa and a brownie. They accept cards, which is good!

They were a delight to work with. We have had Sweet Treats come out twice now and are fully satisfied. At our last event, people commented on the good quality ice cream! The truck is cute, the worker was friendly and prompt. I highly recommend.

I feel like making whoopie! Sweet treats is a food truck purveyor of grab and go desserts that make an affordable«out on the street» option. I was recently at a Food Truck event in Valley Center and while all the other trucks sold food at $ 10(Collusion?), this truck had items as low as three. Cookies, Whoopie Pies, cinnamon rolls, brownies, and a case of refrigerated«top shelf» treats. All affordable. My kids chose the Whoopie Pie(with white icing and sprinkles). It was large enough to give a bite to several people. The cake was nice, and the inside appeared to be a butter cream of some sort. The white icing make it kind of taste like a Twinkie. $ 4. The Group’s judgement — «Tasty»

We were lucky enough to have the Sweet Treats Ice Cream truck at our son’s 3rd birthday party. The entire process was so simple! Every question was answered and the entire Sweet Treats crew was professional and fun. We had Chris for our event. He was so sweet to the kids and a pleasure to work with. Jennifer was attentive to every detail. We absolutely loved that they played Sirius kids music during the event as well. I can’t recommend Sweet Treats enough for any event!

If you are even thinking about hiring this truck for your next event, DOIT!!! I have nothing but amazing things to say about Sweet Treats. We ordered the basic ice cream package, and hired them for our wedding in August of this year. First of all, Jennifer is amazingly sweet and super professional. She answered all of our questions, and did her best to accommodate our needs. They were already booked for our wedding day, but she did some magic with the schedule and squeezed us in! We were so happy. You can also customize the Sweet Treats truck a little as well. We chose a personalized quote for them to write on the white board on the truck– we chose a quote from«The Office.» And they also asked us if we wanted the ice cream truck song played, or if we wanted any other type of music. There is satellite radio on the truck. We went with the ice cream truck song, which was actually a really cute hip hop version of the song! So cute! Our truck was a surprise for our quests. They were blown away when our DJ made the announcement for them to come outside. The chaco tacos were probably the most popular. Sweet Treats allowed us onto the truck to pass our the ice creams to our guests. It is a great alternative to a receiving line. Also, we never made it to all of our tables at the reception, so being able to take orders directly from our guests was fantastic. Chris, our truck attendant was so sweet and worked diligently behind the scenes to give us whatever flavor ice cream that was requested so that we could serve our guests quickly. For us, Sweet Treats was less expensive than a cake! We paid $ 100 to use the truck and then $ 3.00 per ice cream. Our final bill was $ 466.00. We don’t have a 1 year old cake to eat for our 1 year anniversary, but we will go to an ice cream parlor instead ;) From start to finish, it was an awesome experience. Everyone thought we were so original, but we all know there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to weddings. Don’t hesitate to make the Sweet Treats Ice cream truck part of your event.

I don’t know whether to review Sweet Treats Ice Cream Trucks or my company for their wonderful surprise visit in our parking lot. It brought back fond memories of that faint minstrel music that sent children running to their sidewalks. I recalled once, in my childhood years, on one hot, sunny afternoon. I had frantically chased after the ice cream truck and the driver wanted to teach me a lesson by coming to an abrupt stop. I splattered onto the back of the truck, leaving a Bugs Bunny like imprint. My friends paused in shock, but began laughing hysterically, when they saw the driver grinning in the rear view mirror. I peeled myself off, came to, and proceeded to hand the driver my loose change for my ice cream. True story, Bro. That’s how much I loved Ice cream back then and still do to this day! My ice cream of choice back then were the classic Ice Cream Sandwiches or Drumsticks. I’ve since broadened my horizons. They have a much bigger selection these days. Sweet Treats stocked Haagen-Dazs, Ben & Jerry’s, Snickers Ice Cream bars, Hello Kitty pops and what not and even had low-fat options for the diet conscious. No thanks. I’ll stick with the fat and sugar loaded please! Hiring this company was such a great idea. I believe our Executive Assistant said they charged $ 100 to come and $ 3 per item. I would love to hire Sweet Treats Ice Cream trucks for one of my own events in the future. They are not just limited to ice cream either, as I’ve read they have other trucks that stock a variety of cookies, cupcakes, brownies, and other gourmet desserts. They deliver smiles to people’s faces and donate a percentage of their profits back to the community too!

They were great! The Sweet Treats ice cream truck came out to our wedding in June. Jennifer was so easy to work with in setting up the event and quickly replied to all my questions. At the wedding all the guests were really excited about the truck and Chris was amazing to work with! They also let us take pictures in the truck, so we have some great memories! It was definitely the highlight of the wedding and I continue to receive tons of compliments about it.

I have nothing but good things to say about these guys! Our company was trying to get a food truck to show up at our jobsite as a surprise for our workers and no other company was calling me back, but Jennifer called me within 30 minutes of me sending in inquiry! I was so relieved. She was absolutely fantastic to work with, even though we only had 2 days to get everything set up to serve 60 construction guys and girls! She was super diligent making sure I got her emails, waived the credit card deposit and allowed everything to be paid by check on site because of the short notice, and sounded really excited about the whole shindig. The truck arrived just when they said it would, even though they had to leave another catering all the way in La Jolla and drive to Kearney Mesa in 4pm traffic. All the guys were thrilled and loved the chocolate covered bacon. We also got cupcakes, brownies, and whoopee pies. The maple bacon cupcake was a favourite and the chocolate whoopee pies were super decadent. A few people said the brownies were simply ‘meh’ but I think the rest of the food was so rich that they can shove it hehe. The man in the truck was also very nice and professional and the cost of everything was so reasonable that we will definitely be contacting Sweet Treats again for our next dessert party!

How to plan to best wedding ever — for kids and adults? Get Sweet Treats Truck to pull up after dinner. Besides the whole marrying the man I love part, the ice cream truck was the highlight of our wedding. It was a surprise for the children in attendance, but the adults may have enjoyed it even more! Chris, the ice cream server, was great with our friends and family. It was so much fun! And everyone loved the idea and the surprise. Totally worth it!

Too sweet, too much sugar, not my style of delicate patisserie, sorry. I still think it was ok as my company paid of all employees to have a sweet treat, but would not go and use sweet truck service. I am more into going to a coffee shop or pastry shop, kind of Champagne Bakery, and enjoy while seating. The service was quick and friendly and I got my raspberry cheesecake to go. Pretty looking truck and fast sugar fix for those who don’t mind this option.

Yum, Yum! I ran into this truck at the 2nd annual valley center food truck festival. I couldn’t make up my mind between the peanut butter tower $ 5.50, the chocolate Bomb $ 5.50, or the peanut butter brownie for $ 3. I went with the peanut butter brownie and enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to trying the rest of their treats. I recommend that you try it.

This review is purely based on their custom ice cream sandwiches, in particular: Snickerdoodle cookies with Kona Coffee ice cream. I visited this truck at Mira Mesa Monday’s Food Truck Gathering. There isn’t much to say so I’ll make this«short and sweet»: one of the Snickerdoodle cookies in my ice cream sandwich was practically raw dough! It was mushy and soft. I split this cookie sandwich with my sister, and we both decided to peel off the raw cookie and eat the ice cream with our one good cookie. Despite the cookie being raw, the Kona Coffee ice cream was delicious! The flavor is what you would expect: dark with a bittersweet taste. I really enjoyed it. I can’t vouch for the other desserts, but the truck also offered single serving cheesecakes, cupcakes, and brownies. Obviously my ice cream sandwich was a disappointment, but perhaps the other baked goods are an improvement?

I’ve eaten a lot of stuff from this truck – well, in particular, the peanut butter brownie and various cookies, and they are all to die for. The Sweet Treats Truck doesn’t make their own goodies, but gets them from other vendors. So, in a way, it’s like they get to pick and choose the best stuff that’s out there! I think their prices are particularly good-the aforementioned amazing PB brownie is huge and only like $ 3, which is totally reasonable. I’m eating a sugar cookie with spicy chocolate filling right now that is so soft and dee lish us.

I tried Sweet Treats last night, since they were parked right next to Devilicious. Sweet Treats is not a truck that makes their own desserts, their desserts come from different places around San Diego like Heaven Sent or Cupcake Love. I’m rating them based off of what I tried, but not knowing where each dessert even comes from, it’s hard to rate the truck as a whole. We tried two cupcakes, a Apple Pie and White Velvet, and a Chocolate Bomb. Cupcakes were $ 3 each and Bomb was $ 5. The cupcakes were not good. Apple Pie was the only edible out of the two, but even so, nowhere in it did it taste of apple at all. It was dense cake with an oily frosting and overly sugary caramel. The White Velvet was worse. A Velvet cake is supposed to be moist, and I’m not even sure what this cake was. It tasted like stale store-bought angel-food cake. It was so dry we couldn’t even eat it. I’m pretty sure their cupcakes come from Cupcake Love, but note to Sweet Treats: think about getting another supplier. The Chocolate Bomb, wherever that comes from, was good. It was chocolate mousse, chocolate cake, raspberry preserves — all enclosed by decadent ganache. It was actually very good, and I would order it again. Other desserts offered are about 6 different cupcake flavors, cookies, brownies, strawberry shortcake, mousses, cheesecakes, tiramisu. Everything is pretty traditional and the only stand-out offering is Chocolate Covered Bacon. They also offer a few Haagen Daaz ice cream flavors. The employees were very nice and prices aren’t bad.

We hired Sweet Treats to do an ice cream social event at work today and they were great! They showed up on time, were nice and professional, had a wide selection of treats, and had great music playing for the duration of our event. Employees were so happy; It was a huge hit!

This week I had the pleasure of indulging in a treat or two from the Sweet Treats mobile truck. This truck has been cruising around San Diego supplying it’s sugar addicts with their sugar fix. This mobile food truck was filled with an assortment of gourmet goodies would rival any bakery. During my visit it had assortment of cupcakes, cookies, crème brûlée, chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered Twinkies, and much much more. They really stepped up the bar in the sweets treats department when they introduced«Chocolate covered bacon.» I know it sounds disgusting, but trust me, it was amazing. The salty bacon and the sweetness of the chocolate compliment each other well. It was harmonious pairing.

Sweet Treats was paired up with Super Q when I found them in Rancho Bernardo. I had thought this truck was an ice cream truck, but in reality, they’ve got all sorts of cupcakes, cookies, brownies, cakes, and other«sweet treats» like chocolate covered bacon. I’m not sure how much of their food is made by them, if any(they have Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices, and I’m pretty sure that their cupcakes are from Cupcake Love). My selections were the red velvet cupcake and an éclair. The cupcake was delicious. The cream cheese frosting had a very light flavor as did the cake. The cake is very dense, which made me wonder if they were from Cupcake Love, so I looked on the CL website, and I’m almost certain they came from there. The size of the cupcake is perfect — it’s not huge like a Babycakes cupcake, but it’s not a mini-cupcake either. The éclair filling was yummy, but the pastry tasted a little dried out. It’s great that this truck usually tags along with a «main course» truck — it’s probably just good business sense for them, but they provided a yummy way to top off my lunch.
