Delish!!! This is not only the best BBQ brisket sandwich I’ve ever had but I think the best thing I’ve ever tasted! It was the perfect mix of flavors with the mac and cheese inside plus the sweet potato fries dipped in the chipotle sauce were HEAVEN!

(Downtown India Street location) Really, Super Q is more like 5 stars taste wise, but the price, dwindling portions & recent poor service knocks the score down. The last 2 visits, my friends & I were overcharged. The first time, we honestly didn’t notice(in a hurry) until we got back to the office. The next time we were overcharged again & pointed out the posted menu prices to the cashier(clearly showing the discrepancy). He blew us off & had the nerve to say that they ALWAYS charge an extra few bucks on top of the posted prices if you choose any of the listed meat choices other than chicken. WHAT!!! Also, not sure if they have new portion control or what but we used to always share a meal or have left overs but the portions have become much smaller lately & more expensive. Anyway, there are too many good bbq places to spend $ 15(with water) on a small bbq lunch.

Overpriced for slow cooked pork with mac and cheese within two slices of bread. Only went here to «socialize» and eat with coworkers but this would not be a personal choice to eat here. Felt pretty gross after eating here. $ 9 for a greasy sandwich is not worth it. Rather go to Device Pastabilities and pay less and get much more in portion.

BBQ + MACNCHEESEMELTS. Food truck craziness. Hadn’t really heard much about this place until recently but it was chillin outside of the comic con madness and I wasn’t about to pay for food inside the convention center. So naturally I headed to the foodtrucks and looked over the menus. And the light shone down on the Super Q Pork Melt. Filled with cheese, pulled pork and mac & cheese. The sweet potato pries were alright, not the best. Recommendations: –Super Q Pork Melt –Super Q Brisket Melt They both run about $ 12. I would recommend it

Just had lunch from the truck yesterday(at my bank, no less) and was very happy with what I got. The Super Q Brisket Melt was great!

First if all: I love the food trucks that go through the trouble of hanging out in front of the MCAS Miramar MCX. It means a lot that they choose to go there for lunch. Great partnership! I got the BBQ brisket sandwich and it was delicious. It was a big serving too, enough to keep me full for a few hours. I also really appreciate that they offer sides. My kids frequent food trucks with me, and that can get expensive. $ 3.99 side of Mac and cheese was the perfect toddler portion. All in all, I enjoyed the food, the prices weren’t bad and the service was friendly. We will definitely be hitting them up again.
