My GF and me walked in and received really professional service.
A couple tips:
1. Speaking Chinese helps a great deal.
2. Expect to pay 50% in tips. The massage is cheap. They need to make money, too.

They did not keep our appt. For us. They gave it away. Not happy. We drive all the way there and they no longer have our spot we made reservations for. Not going back. Plus right when you walk in are five massage chairs in the waiting room. No thank you. Moving on…

Unilocal does no lie! This is the best place for massage in SD. The Ladies are so nice!

I like to get a real deep tissue massage at least once a month and selected Sunny Massage this time. Decent massage, worth the money but didn’t solve my shoulder problem. I needed more pressure.
Overall a pleasant experience and worth another try.

These therapits are awsome, I would even call them healers. I love the 20 foot massage that includes head to toe. I have a standing apt. and then go right next door for noodles!

i love Lydia. she is great i have been coming her for 3 years and I’m never dissatisfy. Everybody may not like it because they don’t speak fluently in English and they don’t take your name i do understand that but you have to try and see, may work out for you and not. Sometime i gets busy i always call to make sure there is not other walkins as i come in so that I’m covered. there are 2 new staff not sure how they do the message so lets just hope is good. you pay for what you get i get great service i always fall asleep so thats a plus for me. and i do leave relax. good luck to all.

After reading good Unilocal reviews for Sunny Massage & SPA, I decided to make an appointment over the phone. When I made the appointment, the person on the phone didn’t even ask for my name, instinctively, a big red flag went up in my head. But based on the good Unilocal reviews this place has gotten, I decided to go against my gut feeling and trust my fellow Unilocal reviewers.
The massage was mediocre. I told my therapist that she could use her elbows if she wanted and to focus on my right shoulder blade because I have had a knot there for over a week. Sadly, she only used her thumb and the palm of her hand, very disappointing. Since I did not like the service very much, I decided I wasn’t going tip. As I was walking to the door, she stopped me at the front desk and ask for a tip. Initially, I was not going to tip her at all, but since she asked I took out $ 2 and handed it to her to show her my gratitude for her service but to also let her know that I did not like the service. As I handed her the $ 2, she shook her head and demanded that for an one hour massage the tip is ten dollars. Since when did tips become mandatory for a service I did not enjoy? Absolutely unacceptable.
If you are looking for a massage, avoid this place at all cost.

«Lady» was perfect. Covered me over strong massage. It was a way better then average Asian Massage in San Diego. Was I just lucky? Is Lady just perfect? Who knows until my return trip. Stay posted.

Stopped by for a much needed massage after having a kink in my neck for almost a week. They were able to accommodate me even when I came in a little after 9p (they close at 10p).
Costumer service was great. The ladies were very polite. I got the foot massage for $ 20. They have you pay first, but I knew that coming in & based on previous reviews… I pre-​tipped my masseuse $ 10. Unlike the others places, they don’t charge credit/​debit card fees.
At the other massage parlors I’ve been to, they’d usually cover you up with a towel. Here they cover you with a mini fleece blanket. I thought it was kinda cute how they had Christmas prints on the blankets for the upcoming holidays.
The lady that massaged me was firm, yet gentle at the same time. I actually started to fall asleep because it was THAT relaxing. She was able to remove the kink in my neck, which I was more than grateful for. After my massage, I was offered some water & mints.
Overall I had a great experience and will definitely return more often. I totally recommend this spot if you’re in the North Clairemont area over Yuliya Spa due to the level of professionalism & wonderful customer service.

Exceed my expectations on my first walk-​in visit (4 stars since I’ve only been once so far)
Had the 1 hr foot combo for $ 20. Place is bright and cheery, clean (though small). I did not see the rooms in the back. Excellent customer service with very slight language barrier. Sasha did a fantastic job on my feet and finding the knots in my neck, shoulders, lower back. I seriously feel like whole new person.
Tips:
–no Amex, other CC ok
–pay first, which is hard to know how much you want to tip (hint to the establishment…)
For me, now that I know how good the therapist was, I will be generous up front but I can see how that is challenging for people who are new.
I will be back within a month and cannot wait to try their other options/​combos. I anticipate this will become my regular 5 star place to go. Yay a place I like :)

We really liked enjoyed our massages today. We live a couple blocks away and this was our first time having a massage here. We are very happy that this place is close to home and the price is so reasonable! The masseuses were very professional as well. We will definitely be back there soon for another couples massage!!!

I always passed by this place and today i got to finally try them out. The prices are really decent for what you get. Customer service is really good, the ladies here are much nicer than most places i have been to. They greeted me with a smile and also gave me some cold water before and after service. The place is very clean unlike most asian massage places. I would definately come back. I did the foot reflexology and body massage combo, i will have to try the 2hr. one next time.
