Dr. Li is a wonderful internist. He is very professional and thorough. His office is extremely clean and comfortable and he never rushes his patients.

Terrible experience. UCSD suggested Dr. Li when I asked for a physician who would help me out with side effects of my cancer treatment. Dr. Li immediately gave me a TDAP vaccine, without telling me that TDAP has one of the most painful aftereffects. Even though I had documented and further explained to Dr. Li that my body does not recover well from trauma, he did not hesitate in recommending this vaccine at once. My immune system could not deal with it. I was in terrible pain for a week; I could not sleep or eat, and I could not put on any clothing over my vaccinated arm. I nearly lost my job because I had to take several days off without warning. When I finally got an appointment for Dr. Li to look at my arm, he prescribed a pain medication that did nothing but make me so nauseous I could not get out of bed. How is this responsible medicine?
