I go here often to pick up coffee for department meetings. Pick ups have often gone great, but the past 5 times we been here over the course of 6 months, the order for a traveller has been forgotten. We’ve tried calling early, calling the day of, and emailing the manager. Every time, the order was completely forgotten. Delay of refreshments would push back the meeting. No discounts were applied. There really is no choice but to continue to go here. Hopefully Big City Bagels will begin offering coffee catering soon.

Got a venti chai latte today and thought it felt surprisingly light when I picked it up and started walking to the library. Once I found a place to sit I opened it up to find 1⁄3 of the drink foam. If you know your Starbucks cups sizes you know that’s A LOT of foam. I don’t pay for the bigger size to add to the foam! Needless to say I felt ripped off. And they get 1⁄3 the stars because I only got 2⁄3 of my drink.

It’s okay, the only good thing is that it’s on campus. Honestly even that doesn’t even add much to the pros because the lines are so ridiculously long all the time. People working here take their sweet time making your drinks, so if you have classes soon then forget about coming here, you’ll probably run late. Some workers are nice and some are rude. They seem to have new employees a lot and some of them take a really long time to take your order. Do again, time management! Come here only if you’re on a longer break or have no more classes.

Starbucks always tastes great, but this location sucks. Extremely bad customer service. Very rude staff. Unecessarily strict rules about drinks.

Not a fan of this starbucks. Doesnt do gold members because it is located on sdsu. Also, limited selection of coffee. Overall, Not our cup of tea.

Ordered a skinny carmel latte because I can not have the sugar in the syrup… I was given a Carmel latte with just nonfat milk and normal carmel syrup… Such a waste of $ 5 of a college student. Don’t work at a food/drink place if you are unwilling to accommodate peoples dietary needs. This is the SECOND time this has happened in a month. Won’t be back I can’t keep throwing money in the trash

worst starbucks ever, rude service. I ordered iced green tea latte, and there were too much undissolved powder in the bottom of the cup, so I asked to re-do it. They kept complaining and did same drink for me. BTW the taste was horrible! I told them the taste was so wired, then you guess what? They did iced green tea for me! I spent $ 3.75 on a tall iced tea!!!

I built this Starbucks and am currently building another campus location by the Arts and Letters building. I love this Starbucks. It’s definitely my favorite interior. Another register or two are coming so the line will move a lot faster.

Horrible. They charged me $.50 for a cup of water with ice. It took them about five minutes to get it to me. Ridiculous. Takes a long time with a short line and they didn’t seem happy.

UPDATE7-16-2014: I’m dropping my rating by a star because one of the male employees there clearly doesn’t like his job and is a little unprofessional. He’s a little rude to the customers and is brusque with cleaning up and with making drinks. Just this morning I saw him call out someone’s breakfast wrap/sandwich. When the customer didn’t show up, he just threw it to the side without care. I was a little disgusted, even though that wasn’t my order. I wouldn’t be so harsh if this was an isolated incident, but his lackadaisical attitude is pretty obvious every time I come in here. How is this guy even hired? FYISDSU students… just because you’re in school and doing your summer job that means nothing to your professional career doesn’t mean you can treat your customers like crap. Some of us who may not look like Unilocalers(and have written reviews for years while you were still in high school) ARE watching. Everyone else is okay. Try to get one of the girl baristas/cashiers. If it wasn’t for them, I’d take my money and go to West Commons or walk across the street for my Starbucks fix.

This Starbucks is one of the reasons why I’m on campus almost everyday, even on days I don’t have class. It’s my new favorite place to study. It’s very big with lots of seating areas. The line always seems long but they have two cash registers so you’re never in line more than 5 minutes. Love it.

Exactly what SDSU students wanted. The new Starbucks is definitely the big man on campus. Tons of seating both indoor and out. Tons of nice lighted places to study. Being right next to the trolley stop, I foresee the outdoor seating being taken up by non-customers most all of the time. As of 2÷12÷14 it’s not 100% completed, but they are open for business.

This review is specifically for the on-campus location located in WC. These girls are assholes. Always so rude, as if my entire existence is the most inconvenient thing in the world. As a former barista at a REAL Starbucks, these«baristas» are poorly trained and drinks are often slowly, or incorrectly made. Something needs to change because there is no need for the ‘tude. We’re all college students, you’re not the only one who has to work their way through school.

Generally this has been an okay Starbucks for me, minus the times when the lines are super long as they’ve messed up a drink of mine before. It’s difficult to find a place to sit sometimes that is in their seating area as they always seem to be taken.

I really like Starbucks but the campus one sucks. First off, you CAN’T use any coupons that Starbucks have. Ripping off poor college students much. Second, the lines are ridiculously long during passing period so don’t bother grabbing a quick drink if you have a 10 minute gap before the next class. Third, a few of the cashiers are extremely rude when you order a drink. And lastly, the drinks are not as great as the drinks I would get at a normal Starbucks. Lots of new workers all the time. For good coffee and friendly staff, Peabody’s is just around the corner.

They don’t have a scanner so any gift cards you purchase online won’t work. Lame.

Its Starbucks. Come for the coffee, don’t stay cause there is not much seating or its freezing. But we all go. Admit it.

This Starbucks is a new addition to the SDSU campus. Although, there are HUGE lines most the time, which really cant be avoided anywhere on campus, the service here is pretty up to par with the Starbucks standards. I would say that most«baristas» are students of SDSU, so its likely that you’ll bump into some classmates. The ONEDRAWBACK of an on campus SB is that they are NOT corporately owned and will not honor Gold Member perks such as Free Drink coupons, free syrup/refills, etc. They do give you STARS towards your card, but not the free stuff that comes with it: P

If it were possible, I’g give this Starbucks 0 stars. Never again. This Starbucks is usually crowded with the line near the door, but for once, the line was reasonable. I still waited 15 minutes for my mocha. Yes, I timed it, because I had arrived on campus early for a meeting and I thought I’d have enough time to get coffee. In doing so, I was a few minutes late. Really, 15 minutes? Really??? My mocha was awful. They were also out of the coffee sleeves. It was such a horrible experience I took the time to Unilocal about it. It looks like staff of this Starbucks consists of kids from either the dorms and/or the dining hall. I wouldn’t mind so much if this place was better managed and the coffee didn’t taste like crap.

Horrible… there is literally a line so long that it’s almost out the door! all I wanted was a cup of coffee… I gave it 2 stars cause during non busy hours, there is usually just a small line. But damn… before class, it’d be faster to walk back to your car and drive to another starbucks…
