I ordered a coffee traveler for a work event the day before and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t even ready. I was standing in line for 20 minutes just to get to the front and had to wait another 15 for them to prepare everything. Avoid Saturday mornings here!

I don’t know many Starbucks locations that get busier than this. It’s impressive the work these guys do under the circumstances. My drinks are always right and prepared in a timely manner. The baristas are great and always take the time to get to know me and connect. Occasionally, it takes 5 – 10 minutes to get my drink, but that’s expected when it’s busy. Avoid the line by downloading the mobile app and sending in your order a few minutes early.

The wait time is outrageous. The customer service doesn’t alleviate the already frustrating wait. I stood at the front of the line without welcome for five minutes. I spoke up finally, «is everyone to busy?» I received an unfriendly reply, «hes cooking something he’ll help you as soon as hes done.» This reaction by employees is common place at Starbucks, which i feel is the contributing factor to lack of interest lately. I would have given them a 2 but that would be doing them a favor. I hope this helps.

I’m not sure if their employees are new but this place is super slow in taking orders and making drinks.

Tables inside needs to be wiped and the floor swept Most tables are sticky and floor not clean.

This Starbucks is my go-to to feed my coffee addiction and is one of the busiest in the mornings. And while the wait can be long, its totally worth it for the customer service. The AM crew are a friendly, loud, rowdy bunch who show love to their regulars and makes a mean mocha with whip and caramel drizzle on top.

There used to be a Starbucks across the street from this Starbucks and one in the Albertsons(until they closed down). Now I’m forced to go to this Starbucks. Twice that I ordered white mocha I was given a regular mocha. I’m usually rushing and this location is always crowded so I didn’t check my drink on those two occasions and wasted a drink. Last month I checked while still at the counter. I had to point out to the barista that my cup said white mocha. UGH! HADTOWAITFORTHERIGHTDRINK! Yesterday, I ordered a venti white mocha, rushed to work and say at my desk. My cup felt light and I removed the lid only to find my venti cup nearly half full. I was very annoyed. If possible, I will make every effort to avoid this location. They are the absolute worst… service and employees.

I came by this Starbucks’s before a busy shopping day to get me a warm cup of coffee and something in my belly. For breakfast, I actually ordered their famous Old Fashion Grilled Cheese and a grande Blond Roast. Unfortunately, the the blond was bitter and not smooth, obvious not my liking, so I had them switch it to the Pike’s Peak, which unfortunately not much better, just a little. They need check and clean the filters daily or perhaps even twice a day. In other words, I have had much better coffee at Starbucks. Now the multi grain grilled cheese was very good, but given I had to deal with the coffee situation and get in line again for a new one, by the time I got back to my seat, the grilled cheese had lost most of its warmth. The bread was tasty but turned soft and lost it toasty crunch and the cheese was very goof good. I tasted cheddar and Mozzarella, but I was not sure of the third cheese, it’s suppose to have. With a warm and crusty grilled cheese and smooth and rich coffee, this would of been a slam dunk. What happen?

I love Wyatt, Josh, and Saif. This is my favorite store. Get to know the staff. They’re a bundle of joy with a double shot and steamed soy.

I come here all the time and probably spend more time here than I do studying at home. I love coming here. The vibe for studying or working is great. I come more during the day or the evening and try to get all my studying done. Josh, Cristian, and Wyatt are some of my favorite baristas. They’re all very nice and friendly. I spend a lot of time and $ here and I bring my friends in to study all the time, but I won’t be coming back in the morning. At 7 o’clock on a Monday morning, I don’t need one of the morning barista’s attitude. Especially when there’s no line, I expect more effort to hear the fact that I said my name is Lany(lah-knee) so I don’t have to keep waiting for my drink that turned out to have the name Glen written on it.

Can’t complain because every location is basically much the same. The staff could pay attention to customer a little bit more. Other that made drinks perfect!

I called this location asking about the Caramel Cocoa Cluster pricing & Adriana was able to answer my question right away. I was very happy and felt educated about Frappuccino’s. Thanks you, Adriana

Great location off the freeway but it can get busy in the evening due to its location across the street from a movie theatre and down the street from a collage. Staff are great and friendly at this location

This Starbucks is always busy. If you order a frap be prepare to wait longer than the espresso bar. I give it a 3 star for the cleanliness and for the speed of service. They always have enough employees but the speed is lacking.

It’s hard to really Unilocal Starbucks because you go in knowing what to expect. You’re entering into a high volume atmosphere, especially because this is one of the more popular locations. Don’t expect ample seating here. I feel like I’ve seen the same people posted in the same spot every time I go. There’s outdoor seating, but it’s either occupied by teenagers from the high school or some of the homeless community that reside in Mira Mesa. It’s an interesting demographic. If you’re trying to study, you would be better off going to Barnes & Noble or Panera across the street. Other than that this Starbucks is no different than the rest.

This location is great low key and not busy. They have great selections of pastry. The baristas are friendly and plenty of seating areas. I love that they alway have new flavors posted for people to try.

There’s a few things that make this location one of the best in Northern SD: — ample seating. SD has generally good weather, so if you can’t find one inside, the outside patio is just as nice and can accommodate a large group. — google internet! super quick and convenient — the baristas are generally pretty friendly — next door to cold stone creamery, jamba juice, rubios, pick up stix, and daphne’s. you’re not too far from several snack/meal options.

Overall, this is your standard starbucks. No drive through option, but that’s not a problem for me. I’m much more comfortable seeing them make my drink anyways =D Service is for the most part friendly and welcoming. On occasion, you’ll encounter a grumpy barrista, but not to the point that it affects me in anyway. I like the fact that all the tables have multiple outlets for you to use if you’re there to have coffee and study, or do other business with your laptops and other electronics. It’s a great place to study if you’re not bothered by the conversational noise and such. There are about 8 tables, so it’s always a hit or miss whether you get a table or not, especially during busy hours. Another thing I like about this starbucks is the fact that they are open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, 10:30pm on Sundays, and 11:00pm other days. This is a little bit later than the other starbucks in Mira Mesa, and is great when I have that late night craving for coffee.

I wanted Mocha powder in my coffee, the staff(she) said ‘sorry not available’ in a rather rude tone. I promptly showed her the location of the mocha powder in the store to which she was unhappy and made a slight frown. I showed another staff member for the mocha powder and he too was unwilling to do anything about it and simply continued what ever he was doing(which was arranging straws etc.) I finally did get my mocha powder that too without a smile or a word of courtesy from her. THISHAPPENEDNOTONCEBUTONTWOSEPARATEOCCASIONS. If I could I would give this place a negative 1 star. The staff really need some training on politeness and good manners. On the contrary, the Starbucks on Mira Mesa Blvd(where I generally get my coffee from) is awesome and once had the same mocha powder missing but the staff went out of their way to make sure I got what I wanted and were pleasant and very courteous.
