I am the co-​owner of 4 restaurants in the San Diego area. I worked with Steve Aretz and the Stanford design department on the signage and awnings for our businesses. I and my partners were completely blown away by their creativity, integrity and responsiveness to our needs. This is my 1^st Unilocal review for our business. In this competitive climate, I had to share my excellent experience with Stanford Sign and Awning.

Customer Service is apparently not in their vocablulary. We recently tried to set up an installation time that would work for us. We were told that they could not offer a solid time unless we paid an extra charge. Have you ever heard of something like this? Then, after confirming with the main office about the install time, we made our way to the site. It takes about 20 minutes to be on site. We waited, and waited and waited. We received a call from the installer, telling us they are just leaving their other install site. We should expect another 30 minutes wait. OK, I called the office again to speak with the guy who just earlier confirmed the appointment time. And all of the sudden he tells me that they don’t offer confirmed appointment, contradicting what he just told us earlier. I hate businesses that over promise but under deliver. I have no patience for this BS. Then, 15 min later I got another call (It’s now an hour wait already) that the installer can’t find the address, and that he didn’t even leave the other job site jet. Enough is Enough. It’s 100 Degrees in the shade. I have better things to do. Definitely will not hire again.
