DONOT buy a gift card here and if you do, good luck redeeming it. I recently found a gift card I had purchased a few years ago and wanted to find out the balance. Gift cards don’t expire in CA so I knew it had a balance for a full treatment. Btw — you can’t check the balance online — you have to call or go in(they need to seriously improve this system). After 4 phone calls back and forth with Vannette(who was helpful, but new), and a phone call to the owner, they finally figured out that the balance was $ 60(as I had assumed). I got the Soothing Back Treatment from Norma who was nice and chatty and helped massage out some deep back pain. She also did a seaweed wrap which literally took off inches of water weight — amazing. The downside was that she was pretty rushed doing the treatment so it unfortunately wasn’t a relaxing experience. When I went to pay, I ran into the same issue — they couldn’t find my gift card in the system and when they did, they insisted that it only had $ 3. They called the owner and went through the same song and dance, only to realize that I did in fact have a $ 60 balance. I paid and left quickly. Their computer system is completely unreliable and there are definitely communication problems among staff. The Soothing Back Treatment was fine, but not worth all the hassle. I will not be going back and I will definitely never buy a gift card again and make a loved one go through that experience.

I would never go back here. I’m new to the area and decided to try this place out. Very unprofessional. I had an appointment and there was some confusion with who was going to do my hair even though I had an appointment. There was no good customer service behind the counter. I believe there was one of the stylist behind the counter who did not know how to use to computer system while the receptionist was too busy getting her nails done to care about the customers. The stylist who did my hair was nice and friendly but the owner was more concerned about her personal life than her customers!!! But for the service and quality of product I received was NOT worth it. I was charged over $ 130 for a hair cut and single color process? They did not tone my hair or protect it from fading. For that price I would think they would of done that. After one week the color is completely gone and the hair cut looks like sh*t. Not to mention I left with some nasty stains all over my forehead and neck. No color protector for my skin and barely no attempt to remove the stains. It took 2 days for the stains to be gone. Basically it was a waste of money. I could of went to Sally’s beauty supply store and bought the dye myself and it would of came out exactly the same.

I’ve never taken advantage of any of the other services, so I can’t comment on those, but I’ve been getting my hair done here for two years. Rosa is my stylist, and I absolutely love her. She’s been cutting and styling my hair all that time and, just recently, coloring it – it came out great! And prices are comparable to any similar salon — not Supercuts but not Tres Chic prices, either. I also like this place b/c it’s very nice, clean, and it has every service you could ever need there — everything hair-related, mani/pedi, massage, waxing — but it’s not hoity-toity.(I’m not a fan of the fancy-pants salon, but I don’t want the $ 7 haircut experience, either.) I definitely recommend Rosa. I’ve never used anyone else, but this is a busy place so they must be doing something right.

Liann’s Review: Do not go to this place to get waxed. Serious. My little sister and I went to this place for the first time on our way to Vons. She wanted to get her eyebrows and upper lip waxed, and I wanted to just do my upper lip. Well, this was the first time we’d been to this place. We thought the prices were good, and we didnt have to wait, so why not? Well, maybe there was no wait for a good reason! When my sister got her eyebrows done, the lady(some big lady with clown makeup) was so unprofessional! She sat her big butt on the arm of the chair my sister was sittin in to get waxed! She didnt even have gloves on! This should have been our cue to leave, but we didnt. The Clown-makeup lady didnt get my sister’s eyebrows right, first off. Then when she did her upper lip, she left stray little hairs. The worst part is when she waxed me! She actually tore off my skin, made me bleed, and then said«oh, you’re bleeding. Is that ok?»!! Seriously, no, its not ok that I’m bleeding. And again no gloves. This lady was horrible. She didnt even apologize, and she gave me an alcohol swab which burned like hell when I wiped off the blood. You would have thought she wouldnt have charged us, but she did. Full price. Don’t go to this place to get waxed. I wouldnt go back to this place for any reason. It makes me cringe everytime I have to see the place just to get to Vons!
