I have never written a Unilocal review before, but the Southern Sea Lion Dancers were so wonderful, I wanted to thank them for their tremendous performance! My husband and I were married this month, and the Southern Sea troupe really gave us an unforgettable afternoon. All of the guests loved their interactive, energetic, acrobatic, and even, at times, comedic production. Communication with Ben and Rodger of SSLD was professional and easy. They came and viewed the venue in advance and customized the staging to accommodate our location. We were even able to build in a lettuce eating element for extra «good fortune.» As someone who has enjoyed and watched lion dance performances in SF, LA, SD and Hong Kong, I highly recommend them as one of the top lion dance teams I have ever seen, and certainly that I have ever worked with! Thank you.

It was really nice to be able to celebrate 2 different cultures for our wedding. The Lion dance was a perfect surprise addition to top off our amazing wedding day. They were so nice and arrived exactly on time! The Lions were so cute and I really loved seeing all the surprised smiling faces as they watched the lions perform.

We had our wedding on 4÷9÷16 and we did a surprise performance with Southern-​Sea Lion Dance Association. It was a huge HIT! Everyone was talking about how much they enjoyed it and how it was such a great surprise. Roger and his whole team are amazing. I would give ten stars if I could. Roger was professional, pleasant, and very responsive with any questions or concerns we had. I highly recommend them for any special event or party.

Southern-​Sea Lion Association is an amazing team! Professional, Talented and Fun! They performed Friday Feb 19th at Club M for the Red Ball, the celebration for the Year of the Monkey (Chinese New Year) organized by Club Vip. Everybody had such a great time watching them because they delivery their dance with so much energy and passion!
I definitely recommend them for events and parties.

Southern Sea Lion Dance Association performed for my restaurant at Szechuan Mandarin this past Saturday. They are truly passionate about what they do and it’s evident by the show they put on for our guests. It’s one thing to perform, it’s a whole other skill to entertain, engage, capture an audience and they did just that! It was great working with them pre-​show as well. Extremely professional, polite, friendly, and enjoyable to work with. They do their best to work with you and match your schedule. We were certainly blessed by everything they did. Our family, friends, staff, and guests truly enjoyed the show. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for coming to perform for us!

Southern-​Sea Lion Dance Association performed at our wedding on 10÷03÷15 and truly set the tone for a fun and energetic night! These performers were absolutely AMAZING!!! They came out with 2 lions and a full music ensemble…(drum, cymbals and gong)!!! They interacted with the crowd and even had a little dance battle with my husband lol…
All age groups at our wedding were cheering, laughing and clapping.
I can’t thank them enough for such a beautiful memory!

Southern Sea performed at our wedding in Malibu and they were phenomenal! They coordinated everything with our wedding planner and their performance was flawless. There was a good mix of main performance as well as crowd teasing and the group also made time for pictures with guests afterwards. The team is very professional and respectful of traditions while also adding a more modern flare with LED lights and coordinated uniforms. Guests who were familiar with lion dance before were blown away. Overall, we are very pleased with their work!
