Ok but not great.
It’s been around for years. prices are high. The owner is not the most customer service oriented but rarely wait’s on customers at least when I am there. The selection is good as far as clothing goes.
The workers seem to change rapidly and it’s difficult to establish a relationship as I do with some surf shops and their workers. It’s nice to know a person when you enter an establishment.
The South Coast «WindanSea» over in Pacific Beach is under new ownership and so this review does not apply to that store.

I haven’t been here in months, but when I did visit I thought this was a pretty cool surf shop. Basically right on the beach, good selection of shirts, tanks, board shorts and zories (aka as flip-flops to you statesiders) which is all i look for in a surf shop. Oh and of course a small selection of boards. I do like how they rent out surfboards for those just visiting. The customer service was friendly, and they had a pretty nice sale going on when I was visiting. I easily can recommend South Coast Longboards to anyone looking for some new surf gear.
