Social Hookah Lounge

It was my friend’s birthday and they let us bring in a cake and even gave us an awesome sparkling candle. The service was great. Just giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish they had told us the birthday service would have been an extra $ 15 charge. We didn’t know until we paid at the end. Hookah and food was good too as always.

The drinks were watered down. The burger wasn’t real beef and the waitress did not understand what was going on at all. The menu is way over priced. My wife’s long island was made from only the bottled mixer and water.

Like really you are forcing me to buy a fruit bowl because you are out of regular bowls !! What kind of hookah place is this. Im just trying to smoke straight mint !! Not a flavor hookah !!

Great atmosphere. Fun place. Dj on a wednsday. Got the gummi bear hookah, taste real artificial. Im into more natural tasting hookah but place is dope.

Speaking as another business owner the lady at the register Lucy is a Bitch and does not know what customer service is.

Great hookah spot around midtown San Diego. It’s a nice, well kept establishment. Service is good. Hookah at a great price and if you go during happy hour specials which is everyday before 6 pm their hookah is about $ 5-​$ 6 cheaper! Employees come around every 20 – 30 minutes to clean and change your coals. Great job guys!

My lady smokes constantly at other San Diego Hookah locations. We were in Old Town and we started craving some hookah. We googled the closest place and Social came up. Let me tell you the owner/​bar tender was friendly and dope
The mango smoothie was bomb and all the beers were nice and cold
They were consistent about changing the Coals and the Hookah hit better then other hookah lounges. It was on a Friday between 5 – 7.

Free wifi, great list of wine and beer, good quality hookahs. It’s spacey… literally! There’s no draft so you can blow o’s all day. I’ll definitely come back.

This place is close and pretty new. It’s decent, the hookah is okay. But spiced Chai with lemon mint is the bomb! Favorite flavor here.

This hookah lounge has a «diamond in the rough» appeal that I was a bit surprised with.
The location and outside appearance, don’t give the inside atmosphere any justice.
The location is a mix of residential, random mom-​and-​pop looking establishments, but inside makes you feel as though you are in a more urban, upscale part of town.
Love the hookah selections, they have such a huge variety of flavors. And the menu is on par with the great setting.
Great staff that is very attentive and polite.
I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to come to relax or bringing friends to celebrate.

The hookah is affordable and the have BOOze, he’ll yeah. The jumbo shrimp is cool also.
I just wish they had larger tables.

Really this lounge deserves 0 stars. Oh where do I even begin! This review is solely based on their customer service & their drinks. It literally took 20 minutes to get someone’s attention once we sat down.
They only had one waitress working who was running around like a chicken with her head cut off. No offense to the lil waitress but she was not helpful at all in taking our orders. Seems like a newbie so we cut her some slack. But it turns out she was more interested in being around the «boys & taking selfies»! Really?!
Ordered 3 drinks! 2 piña coladas & a mojito. These were the 3 worst drinks we had in our entire lives! It tasted like crap pure crap! Tasted like Scope mouth wash & spoiled milk. Turns out these are all PRE-​MIXED cocktails YUCK!
Called our waitress over & told her we didn’t like it & to please take it back & to bring our check. Her answer was, I can’t make that decision & that she had to talk to management. Ok???
As she walks away, we are all assuming she’s looking for the «manager». NOPE!!! More selfies! Smdh!!! Finally our check comes & the 3 drinks are still on there WTF!
So I then got the manager myself & explained to him the problem. Instead of an apology, he looks at us & in pure utter disbelief asked us why & really? He did not like that one bit. Finally he took it off our bill.
Worse experience ever. Hookah was awesome that’s about it.
I can buy my own hookah & light it up in my own place, with better company & cocktails for sure!

Its my favorite place I go there a lot till I became a VIP lol they take a good care of their customers and they have the best hookah ever and using the five star award card make it more fun I have a free hookah the next time I’m going so much fun, try it everyone no regrets especially if u wanna have a small party with ur friends that’s the best place for that …

They have the best manager (Rany) that makes the best hookah and drinks in San Diego

Went to this place for the first time to celebrate mine and a friends birthday. The hookah was great! We had the pineapple (real fruit hookah) and the watermelon (real fruit hookah) GREAT choices! The drinks were good also and the service was great! The place was beautiful and clean! The music was great all night! The owner was awesome!!! The staff even gave us cake with candles lit and played birthday music! We had such a great time that we didn’t want to leave! I would highly recommend this place! Loved it and will be going back soon!
