Sidekicks Martial Arts Academy

My brother and I were students of Sidekicks for many years and we both received our black belts. We paid to receive our black belt plaques and Master Maurice Orange promised to send us black belt certificates instead. This was after an unfortunate incident where the person he hired to make the plaques died. We stopped going once the school switched locations. However, I reached out to Master Orange after quite some time and I reminded him we never received anything despite already paying for plaques. Although he promised to send us the certificates on November 19, 2013 we still have not received anything. Furthermore, he completely cut off all communication between us and never responded to my repeated emails, phone calls, or messages following up on the certificates. I have a screenshot picture of the last message I wrote to him on February 22, 2014 after patiently waiting another three months where I bolded the word «Integrity» (one of the school’s tenants) which he has clearly shown to lack. (See pictures) He doesn’t practice what he preaches so just know that before you send your kids there.

Don’t quit because, you will not get your money back.

I believe exactly what Larry O said! My daughter is enrolled and loves it. All children that attend are respectful and staff is great. They really care about their students and dont just do it for the money. I have two other friends who have their kids enrolled and are very happy. All the children are learning quality skills that will make them successful in life. Great place!

This place is great. my kids started about a year ago and love it. my kids have more discipline as the instructors are strict on school work, attitude and how they act at home. highly recommended if you are looking to get your kids into it.
