Semper Fi Depot

Semper Fi Depot is the spot if you are looking to buy a quality riflescope at a bargain. They are really cool guys. They are legit and carry an assortment of hard to find quality riflescopes for a price that is less than their competitors. Forget going to Turners or Bass Pro shops and getting ripped a new one. These guys have the same stuff at a much cheaper price. I don’t know how they get the stuff for so cheap but I’m not going to complain, I’m just going to sing their praises as they are also very friendly and cool to work with. I believe I was working with Thomas, we spoke over the phone multiple times. These guys are responsive, helpful and down to earth. They don’t act like they know it all, like some narcissistic, arrogant, bougie type of people doing business with us common folk!
They left me voicemail messages, answered my calls and questions. They heard my concerns, helped me with PayPal setup for easy payment and even allowed in-​store pickup instead of delivery as they have a store open to the public. Hands down a very good experience with good customer service. These guys know what they’re doing and sounds like they’re having fun while they’re doing it.
Lastly, a strange thing to note, I’m the 2^nd Chris M. to leave a review. That’s kinda weird. Anyway, good job Semper Fi guys.

The prices here are ridiculously cheaper than any of their competitors for optics, seriously like several hundred dollars cheaper on some. That being said the staff does not know much about the applications of the optics there selling so make sure you do your own research and know exactly what you’re looking for. If you’re willing to spend little time online and decide to purchase Vortex or Night Force optics this is hands down the cheapest place to make your purchase.

Bought a zt knife yesterday… they have the best selection of quality knives in San diego and the customer service is awesome. The owner of the store after I told him that I was a collector he showed me the entire collection plus useful explanation of the pros and cons of every single knife… Definitely going back. Thumbs up.

This is an awesome store. We drove out of our way just to get my husband this special slingshot backpack that nobody else in Southern California carries. Ken helped us find what we were looking for and even gave us some pointers on great places to live. This store and Ken are worth the extra drive

Semper Fi Depot is a tiny store hidden behind a storage locker lot. Their employees are very polite. Their selection however is severely limited. I went in expecting more of a military surplus store looking for uniform items, pants, blouse and a OD green boonie cover. They have a limited supply and range of sizes for generic Marine MARPAT but that and some 5.11 pants were the extent of it. Everything else was random molle capable pouches and packs with random sizes of boots.
The store needs to decide whether it will focus on knives, scopes and etc. or more of a surplus angle but they are currently on the fence and have limited supply in both regards.
Store has potential.

Finding a gun shop with employees that are not pretentious are a gem. Often I run into places that i just don’t feel welcome in or free to ask any question I have, but the folks at Semper Fi Depot were informative and courteous which goes a long way for me.
Prices at Sempr Fi are reasonable to excellent as I was able to find my red dot for $ 30 less than most online stores. They also have a showroom filled with bags, boots, accessories, etc. along with the small and simple storefront.
It is in the back of a parking lot, tucked away and hard to see which is the only drawback. But once you know where this small spot is you probably won’t forget because you’ll want to come back.

I had a hard time locating a shop that carried holsters and was recommended to this shop by my neighbor. Most of the holsters they carry are Fobus or Blackhawk (it would be nice to see some Blade Techs for more variety).
Thomas helped me locate the holster (Blackhawk) I needed and let me bring my pistol in to test the fit. The prices are very good for a retail store and Thomas, was great to work with on the purchase.
I would definitely come back here and good gun accessory shop are hard to find especially with prices that don’t gouge. It was good to see and handle a product before buying (which you can’t with online buys).
The shop is actually behind the public storage so it’s hard to spot from the road.
