Very friendly and helpful staff. It’s a lovely spot and easy to get in. I was just not a fan of some of the world Ed but did like the port. Very tasty. Also liked the Merlot.

I am from out of town and came to the store for a tasting. I had a nice time and ordered a bottle to go. When I got home, I realized I had been given the wrong bottle, one I did not even try(i know because I don’t like sweet wine). I called the store and asked if they could fix it because my plans did not include returning to the store. The shopkeeper told me I said the wrong wine(basically calling me a liar) and he couldn’t fix it.

Finally got to try the Passion Fruit Mimosa. It’s mixed with passion fruit white wine and their own sparkling water wine… YUMMM! Not sweet like I was thinking it was going to be, but good. Customer service was great as well! Thank you for starting my birthday off to a great start!

We were staying at the Hyatt next door. While walking around the Seaport Village we came across this really nice wine store. We found the prices very high at the hotel so we decided to give this place a try. They have a limited selection but, the clerk was very nice and said she could open a cold bottle and reinsert the cork, bag it up and we could take it back to the hotel. She gave us a free taste of a couple of different ones so we could decide. We picked the Fruit flavor at $ 20 a bottle. It was really nice to have for the room at the hotel.

My husband and I met up with my daughter and son in law at Seaport Village and while wondering through the village I saw this establishment. We decided(my daughter and me) to do a tasting. The men folk came along for the ride. The shop was clean and welcoming so we stepped right in and up to the counter to begin our tasting. The clerk greeted us with a smile and gave the needed information for the tasting. For $ 10.00 you get 5 tastes from a wine list selection she provided us. Or a deluxe tasting for $ 20.005 double tastes and an 18 ½ oz souvenir glass. With each tasting they offer $ 5.00 off a bottle purchase. It was suggested to start with the white wines, reds, passion fruit, and then dessert wines if you were going to taste from each category. The clerk gave us brief information about each wine and answered any questions that we had. The outside seating was comfortable, beautiful view overall a fun relaxing experience. My favorite wine from this tasting was the Tawny Port a dessert wine. It was smooth, with robust flavors which included hazelnut, chocolate and raisins(according to the wine list«think raisinets but with a kick») $ 20.00 a bottle.

While walking along the water, I got lured into this place from a sign reading«passion fruit mimosas». Decided to stop here for a refreshment on a hot day and the lady helping us was very friendly and let us taste each of the 3 mimosas for free. We both ended up buying a glass each and it was just relaxing to sit outside and admire the beautiful San Diego weather!

This was a spur of the moment stop and it was a lot of fun, definitely worth the time and moneh. While the wine wasn’t the best, they had a fairly big selection of their locally made bottles and it was fun to try some new things on their patio that overlooked the beautiful marina. I’d also give props to the woman who worked their, who was very personable, knowledgable, and engaging.

This place is FANTASTIC! Their tasting room overlooks the marina at Seaport Village and is a great place to have a relaxing glass of wine while waiting for the sun to set. We’ve been here several times and the staff is extremely knowledgeable about anything to do with wine, especially Jenna. I’m a San Diegan and Seaport Village is definitely a place to bring guests from out-of-town and then stop in at the Winery for a glass or two of wine.

We visited seaport village for our first time & were on the hunt for this winery. Chris helped us out & was truly THE most knowledge & helpful sommelier we have ever had. He guided us through the entire tasting & was still so attentive to other customers! We have been to many wine tasting and have rarely enjoyed every single wine, but here we LOVED all 6 of our samples. We will be ordering a case as well as telling our friends about this winery! Thank you Chris for making our trip even more enjoyable! Salute!

Love it here! Have been here 3 times in the last month. I love sitting on their patio when we can find a table(that may be the only con– small patio), and watching the boats and people of Seaport Village. Definitely visit here!

As a friendly warning, take my review with a grain of salt. I am most definitely not a wine connoisseur. With that said, I felt that this sunset was average. Nothing awful, nothing amazing. I did the small sample tasting and choose 2 white, 2 red, and two dessert wines. The dessert wines write the best by far. I felt that most of their wines had the same basic flavor and it was somewhat sour to me. The staff was great and seemed to really like being in the wine biz.

Nice find at seaport. They do tastings — $ 10 for a standard size tasting of six wines(regular sized wine glass), $ 15 for a deluxe tasting(jumbo wine glass, larger pourings). The price includes either the glass to take home or $ 5 off the purchase of a bottle of wine. They don’t have any food to serve per se. They do sell packaged cheese and crackers, and have a dessert menu from Buster’s next door on hand. You can order and they will run the order over and have Buster’s deliver dessert. Their passion fruit wines are interesting and tasty. We ended up taking home a bottle of their port. Staff on site were knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely a place to go to while enjoying a sunset.

Located at the end of seaport village, this small tasting room probably flies under the radar for most locals because of its location. However, you shouldn’t discount it! It was pretty much empty on a Sunday afternoon. Their flight prices differ by the size of the pours, but since I’m driving, this was a no brainer. You then can create your flight based on what you like. Since I’m a pretty structured person, I went for the standard 3 white/3 red combination. This was an easy choice since they only had 3 whites on the menu. After trying them, I know why. Their money is in their reds hands down. They were full bodied and fragrant, a real treat for your senses. I would describe the service as aloof interest. When spoken to, the people working there were very knowledgeable about their product. However, the conversation would taper off into an awkward silence that led you to retreat back to whatever table you were hovering around. The prices were right, the wine was delicious, the pours were generous, but the service was middle of the road. If you’re in a group, it’s probably best since you don’t notice it as much.
