Peter at SD Solar permits was outstanding from the drafting the Solar plans to dealing with the city. Saved me so much time and money not having to deal with them (the City). Also responded to all my emails and questions on the weekend.

I used peter to draft my plans for my self installed solar system. Having hand drawn plans several times as an Owner-​Builder back before a house full of kids, Peter’s service was a huge time saver. The plans were exactly what I sketched for him and the line drawings were perfect.

He had my system designed, spec’d out, and even hand-​delivered my plans to the City of San Diego in several days. 5 days later, an approval, all for a non-​conventional spec. He followed up with the city and took great care of me. He caught some issues with hardware vendor disclosures (namely fire safety rating specs required by the city) which helped me stay clear of problems ahead of time. Also had some extra knowledge on electrical system specifications that exceeded some electricians I spoke to bidding my job — this greatly helped in reducing total installed cost and felt good to have somebody on my side with an unbiased point of view. Something hard to find in the solar field. Happy to help Peter grow his business anytime — sharp guy! He was very reasonable for the work done, and every dollar spent probably saved me three. Don’t hesitate to have him do your job.
