San Diego Granite Repair

Wish I would have found them sooner! I had a crack over a foot long behind my kitchen faucet. Caused by water seeping through sanded grout. Water expanded a metal bar underneath my granite, lifting it and causing it to crack. I tried about a year ago fixing it myself but I had no idea what I was doing. I sent them pictures and within a day or two I had a quote. I replied back that I was fine with the estimate and they scheduled my appt (about a week later) Showed up on time, told me exactly what it was and how it happened. Fixed the crack and sealed my kitchen sink and behind it with waterproof sealer. Took less than 2 hours– $ 390 was my bill and I would pay it again in a heartbeat because they did an excellent job!

Excellent service! Our plumber cracked our granite while replacing our faucet and left us without a faucet or a solution. I quickly started searching for granite repair services and found San Diego Granite Repair. After reading the excellent reviews that Gil had received I contacted them immediately. I heard back from them in the same day and they were able to come and repair the damage the very next morning (Saturday). He was extremely nice and worked quickly. We had a backyard BBQ island with the trim separated from the main counter top. I took photos and attached to a request for a quote to SDGR as well as others, Gil responded within 24 hours with a quote (the only response) and scheduled the fix. When he looked carefully the problem was more extensive than a clean up and new epoxy because of previous poor installation and LOTS of concrete backing the granite, It was beyond the scope of what he could do that day. He returned the following day (after rearranging his schedule and) with a different tool kit and did a superb job of attaching the trim and fixing several cracks. He actually clamped it for the weekend because it was a Friday and returned Sunday at noon for final touch-​up, No additional charges from the initial quote! 100% reliable and honest with excellent business integrity, Thoroughly recommend.

If only everyone ran their business this way. Night before last while sitting at the kitchen table, my husband notices a crack in our granite, at the front seam in front of the sink. Yesterday morning, I fill out the San Diego Granite Repair (SDGR) online quote system with a photo of the crack. By the afternoon, I had a quote and appointment for this morning. This morning, Gill came, super friendly, took care of everything within an hour. Left behind a spotless kitchen, an undetectable repair and told me to call if I had any issues, that he stood by his work and would come out should there be any problems.

Had an 11″ crack in my granite fixed today. It tool Gill an hour and a half to fix it. It was an incredible process to watch. Quite a few steps. Was thinking of buying a kit on line to try it myself, but after watching such a lengthy, professional job. I’m so happy I didn’t try this myself. It looks great. It started as a 4″ crack. After watching how quickly it was spreading, it was time to call in the experts.

I was able to send photos and get an estimate easily. Major crack in expensive granite counter top disappeared after a few hours with Gill and his magic. Advice on how to avoid future cracking at no charge… I’m a fan!
