I had to fly out to San Diego from Chicago about a week and a half ago to attend to my late father’s affairs. I was out there for four days and I have to say that it was one of the most nerve racking, stressful and emotionally exhausting things I’ve ever had to do. My wife had called Bobby Myles before I ever left Chicago. She was setting up my itinerary for me so I wouldn’t forget anything. She said that Bobby was extremely respectful and courteous and really made her feel like everything was going to be ok by the time she hung up the phone. I didn’t see Bobby until my last day in San Diego. He was my last stop before the airport, actually. My half brother had come in from Oregon with his fiancée the day before to help me straighten everything out. Since we were both next of kin, there was a bunch of paperwork that we both had to fill out before Bobby could retrieve our father from the medical examiners office. Thank God we decided to stop by and see Bobby in person because we never would have figured it out on our own. Bobby made sure that we didn’t miss any signatures, initials or checked boxes. He took his time, explained everything in clear detail and walked us through it step by step. He was absolutely awesome. Believe it or not, he actually had all three of us laughing quite a few times while still being respectful of the situation at hand. I could tell he’s been doing this a long time. He is an absolute master at reading people and figuring out exactly what to do or say to take the edge off in these type of situations. He almost made us forget why we were there, he’s that damn good. He really made the whole process just so much easier to deal with and get through. It could not possibly have been a better experience. I could type all night and still not fully express how pleased we all were with Bobby Myles and San Diego Funeral Service. Btw-did I mention that Bobby cut short an appointment with his daughter in order to accommodate my airport schedule? Yes, he actually did that. He’s first class all the way around.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Bobby Myles and San Diego Funeral Service; not only did he patiently answer all my questions, but he also helped me to find the best casket and service arrangement that would fit my family’s needs and my budget. He is one of the nicest guys in the business and genuinely cares about the people he serves. Although out initial meeting was almost three years ago, he still contacts me from time to time to check on my family. We need more people like him in this business and in the world!

I was referred to Dennis at SDFS, and am so thankful I was. He handled my situation with care and professionalism. There was no «up-selling» for things I did not need or want. All of my questions were answered in detail(and I had alot of questions), without ever making me feel like it was an inconvenience for him. He even came to my house to go over all the paperwork which made me feel much more at ease. Even after hours I had some questions, and was able to reach him directly, without having to go through an answering service or any kind of recording. I would recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone who needs his companies services. For the situation, I can not imagine a better way to go.
