First off I found this Hidden Gem after having lunch around the corner today. Small shop only three Barber nice setup old school barber chairs good music TVs with sports games playing. I went to the guy in the first chair as soon as you walk in Barber behind door had customers waiting for him. So I went to the open chair luckily I sat down in his chair. I happened to get cut by the owner Frank he gave me a excellent cut. Since I’m in the military I have been clean cut. I get a two and a skin fade Barber use hot towel and straight razor on haircut. He left my head feeling nice and smooth with perfectly straight line line-​up. The guy behind the door also did really good haircuts he had one in the chair and three waiting for him. Safe to say I’ll be coming back to this barbershop SDCLIPPERS is A1.

On general I do not pamper myself, I leave that to my wife. Actually, if a haircut costs much more than $ 20 I start to get uncomfortable but I thought, what the heck? I walked in to San Diego Clippers and their were price lists up on the wall but also smaller versions of them on the seats which made it convenient not to have to stand around staring at the wall. I opted to go with «The Works» and added a hot towel shave.
Shop was busy and I was a walk-​in so I had to wait about 40 minutes but the guys made sure to acknowledge me and immediately started including me in their conversations. I sat down in Frank’s chair and being the killer professional he is, Frank understood what I wanted, laid me back, and got to work.
After the haircut I received not one, not two, but three hot towels. The straight edge shave was close and tight.
The best part of experience was the overall feel of the shop. It’s small and can get crowded very fast but the atmosphere is great and the Barbers are professional.
My recommendation is to make an appointment. The price list does state that appointments «start at $ 25 and are at the discretion of each barber» but it would be worth every penny!

Best barbershop in Logan heights. Barbers are professional and very attentive to detail. Good vibe and atmosphere. Usually music, movies, or sports playing on the TV’s. Located by 32^nd naval base and right off the 5 freeway. walk-​ins welcomed but booking an appointment is recommended considering there are only 3 barbers.

I was looking for a barber in the area and Frank was recommended to me. I had been with my previous barber for almost 13 years so it was hard to trust someone else with my hair. Let’s just say I’m staying with San Diego Clippers from now on. Frank gave me the freshest cut and the place was super chill. I recommend it 100% to anyone. Even if I have to wait for a haircut I would do it, that’s how professional Frank is. Thanks for the cut.

No stars for the guys it was so unprofessional I went there and the guy skipped me twice and was like my bad man the guys have appointments, so I was like okay it says that appointments are 25 $ but when he cut the guys hair he was only charging thwm 15, when i saw that i just got up and left there is no respect here, and yeah these guys might cut good but its not worth waiting for hours to get a decent haircut, there were two of them there and I got tired of waiting for more than an hour so I got up and left and went to another baber shop in national city where they cut my hair right when I got there no appointments no nothing bullshit and came out better than these guys for just and for 10 bucks I told the other baber shop about my experience with these guys and they even told me that’s not how a business should be runned, NEVER COMING back to this place its a joke, I found a new baber shop that’s great atmosphere and great service just 5 mins away from them and that’s my new spot where I will be going to get my cuts from now on

I walked in before some guy and they toom him up before me since he «had» an appointment for $ 25, but when the transaction went down he charged him $ 15. In my opinion that was just rude.
Not coming here again if the owner doesn’t respect the wait time a client has to deal with.

Frank works magic with them clippers n scissors of his. I just show him a pic or describe what I want and I’ve never left with a bad cut. And the hair products he uses n sales, quality.

so i been looking for a good barber shop ive been to 3 places since i got from LA… i know how frustrating it can be starting over looking for your new spot you can go for the rest of your living days… i have finally found my barber shop i can call a second home!!! The best cut I ever got a clean taper for this weekend!!! highly recommended !!! Shout out to corn … i have not looked at myself so much in the mirror exceptions were met

Barber Frank best in the 619 ! Does it all from designs to dying ur hair and a clean ass line up ! Been going with him since 09 would highly recommend him and everyone else in this shop. SAN DIEGO CLIPPERS won’t disappoint !
Top it off the shop has a sick ass set up and always has good music bumping.

Chris cuts the cleanest cuts and has the freshest fades, Absolutely recommend him no doubt

Just moved to San Diego and needed a fresh one so I went to San Diego Clippers Barbershop. S/​O to the homie Drew for the clean cut and the convo! Highly recommend checking this spot out.

In San Diego for several days of business and badly in need of a haircut. I was referred to this little shop and it was perfect. There were two barbers and both were excellent. I did not have to wait. Chris cut my hair and did a perfect job. He took his time and was very precise and careful to follow my instructions. He did a great straight razor line-​up. Could not have been better. The other barber in the shop, whose name I don’t know, also was doing excellent and precise cuts. I highly recommend this place.

This place is super legit. Hit up Chris an get fresh for the night. Finally found a barber close to home. Heard about this place an finally came thru glad I did. Good music an sport on the tv is always a plus. Gonna have to come once a week for sure now.

Moved to the area and have been looking for a good Barber. Was recommended this spot by a barber in IB. Knowing that Friday’s and Saturdays are insane for the younger guys looking to look fresh to go out that night, I was pleasantly surprised to find out they are open on Sunday. Walked in and met Briam. Told me there was a hour wait and told me to come back in an hour. Was cool with that so I ran a couple of errands. Came back and sure enough only waited for 5 minutes.
Now for the cut. As a working professional I can’t have a crazy cut. He told me that he got me. A 1 on the side with a combover. Have to look a little conservative for the office. I have this «remolino» (I actually don’t know the translation. When it’s cut short its like a whirlpool of hair. Not all barbers can deal with it so for the first week after a cut I usually have this Alfalfa look. Bri was able to tame it. He took his time, about 30 minutes. Had a great conversation with him. He also finished of with a straight razor finish. All in all I think I found my new barber. I recommend him highly!

These dudes are true artist. I moved out here about a year ago. I ran around the city looking for a decent shop with little luck until a few friends put me onto this shop. I’ve been going to them for the last 6 months and they still have me impressed every time I get out of the chair. True pros and good dudes. Best Shop in SD. Hit up Chris or Franky can’t go wrong.

Best barber shop in San Diego. Great atmosphere and The barbers make you feel like family. I had to get a last minute cut and they kept the shop open to squeeze me in. If you need a cut, hit up San Diego Clippers and ask for Chris

Frankie, owner and barber, is hands down the best barber I’ve ever been to. He takes his time and makes sure that you are satisfied. When your getting your hair cut or lined up, you feel like you are just hanging out with your homies. You could get lost staring at the jerseys on the ceiling and sports memorabilia on the wall. He also has the Street Fighter 2 arcade game to entertain the kids, as well as military discounts. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Thanks to Frank for keeping the shop open. I needed a haircut at the last minute and Brayam did one heck of a job. Thanks you to boys.

Hands down best barber shop in San Diego! Great location and great atmosphere. I’ve been coming here since after my deployment in 2009. Doesn’t matter what barber you get, the haircuts are always on point! Great military discounts on Monday and treats his customers right.

Great haircut right off the 5 freeway!
Stopped in for a quick cut because of the easy location right off the 5 freeway. This place rocks! Got a killer cut from Frank and felt like I was hanging out with my friends. It’s a great group of barbers who know how to make you feel at home and give an amazing haircut.
I’ll definitely be stopping by to get a great cut whenever i’m in town!
I highly recommend this place, wish there was one in LA.
