This is great place to learn how to become
Independent after vision loss. You learn how to cook, wash clothes, type, be mobile again (using public transportation, crossing the street & etc) and walking with a cane. Not only that there are other benefits … Such as group counseling & of course the opportunity to make friends who know exactly what it is like to have vision loss.
* If you know someone who has some vision loss or is blind, this is the place to go. Please recommend them to here. *
If your a student or someone looking for a great place to volunteer, this would be it. I truly feel I’m a great help, and the rewarding feeling you get from the students here is awesome.
They are always looking for volunteers :)

My mom attends here and I always love picking her up. The staff and students are really nice and tell jokes a lot so be ready lol
