I have known Tracy for 15 years. I’ve been to other places and I always come back to her. She does amazing pink and whites, no other place compares. Their nails and pedicures last me 3 weeks and never chip! Their pedicures include a great massage with hot rocks after as well! I highly recommend this nail salon! All the employees are sweet, friendly and do a great job! They also have two hair stylists and two estheticians.

I’ve been getting my eyebrows done here for almost 10 years. Laan is the best there is, the kindest, most gentle, amazing woman and waxer in San Diego. Also great at facials.
Also the best place to get manicures and pedicures.

My nails looks great! I was a little iffy when I came in… there was not another single customer in the shop. I was all alone with 3 – 4 employees who just kept talking among themselves. I had a mani and pedi and let them know I was in a bit of a hurry to get back to my office from lunch. I thought the pedi was nice — she seemed to take her time and the polish looked good. The gel mani was started when I was still in the pedi chair, which I’m a fan of since it gets me out the door much faster.
The total was $ 52 for both services… I’m happy with the end result. Almost three weeks later and my nails still look pretty good. yes, they’ve grown out a little and it’s time to get them done again but still look nice.
I will be back!
btw — parking during the week is a total pain! that parking lot is always fulllllll!

I accidentally came across this place waiting for AT&T and I am so glad I did! There was a wait but the women made me feel so comfortable and were very attentive even before my pedicure. Prices are great and the staff is so friendly!

Was in town for work and needed/​/​wanted a manicure, found this place through Unilocal as it was super close to where I was. The nail tech that did my nails was detailed, sweet, welcoming, the tools were clean/​fresh and the salon was cute and clean… she did a great job and I was super pleased. My issue is that the 2nd day, the polish started to peel. I think the clear top coat was to thick or… I am not sure what it was or why but it started to peel off like elmers glue peels off. I’d still go back, it was a nice experience.

Terrible service !!! Period.
I made an appointment and waited for 40 minutes and the hair stylist never arrived. I tried to reach her like 4 or 5 times cause she told me that there is a cancelation fee if I am late. There must be at least an apology if she never appears. Waste of time. They don’t take their job seriously maybe that’s the reason why the salon was completely empty.

Came here for the first time and I was super happy! Tracy refilled my acrylic nails and they looked amazing! She took her time and had lots of attention to detail! The price was great and I will definitely return! Thank you Tracy!

The girl who did my mani/​pedi ignored me the whole time, she was calling people on her phone and talking to the other lady working and not giving me the attention I was paying for. Asked her to please do my heels and I’m home now and they’re still peeling! Looks like she didn’t even touch them! I enjoy my manicure but for $ 52 I expect a little bit of attention to the job she is supposed to be doing. It was not a friendly atmosphere.

Well, got a manicure and the file on me that looks like it was well used with white nail dust all over it. I hope I don’t get fungus infection or worse from reused tools. I need to find a place that uses clean practices that they were taught, too many places take shortcuts and are stingy on using new files. I didn’t see anything about autoclave, so probably none of these tools are sterile. Hard to find those places where tools are unwrapped from a sealed plastic pouch, but I’ll have to keep looking.
Won’t return, I’d hate to get a fungal infection, my coworker had one and it took months to cure, no thanks… I don’t care how nice, friendly, talkative, I do not want a public nail cleaning or filing tool used on me. I feel gross just thinking about it, I wish I would’ve just got up and left.
They were nice, polish was applied well, that’s about it.

Rose gave me one of the best massage pedicures ever. She was friendly and took her time with the massage, the real reason I was there. I was surprised that hot stones were included in the pedi! Can’t wait to go back

I’m actually surprised on the good reviews this place has. I was in the mission valley area and Unilocaled a few spots to get an acrylic set put on. Based on previous reviews for this spot, I chose it. I felt the staff was rude and when I went to pick out a top color and came back to my seat, I watched my manicurist cut her cuticle with a tool and then placed the tool into a box labeled «clean tools» without cleaning it at all. There were old nail clippings on my seat as well. The only reason I have two stars instead of one is because they were fast and the work is ok… but nothing to brag about. Needless to say I won’t be returning due to lack of cleanliness.

2nd time in San Jose and I desperately needed a fill. I didn’t get the employees name, but she took her time shaping and filing my nails to perfection. Best acrylic mani I’ve ever had! The employees are super sweet and the prices are reasonable. Awesome place.

I love coming here I work across the street from it but I still live very far but my sister and I will make the extra trip to come here. Best customer service I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Always nice and great conversation. Plus the work they do is amazing from the massage to the paint on my toes. I love this place and it’s definitely my permanent place!

Rose did my nails and she did an awesome job. She was very funny and my foot and arm massage were exceptional. Even though they closed at 7, they stayed til past 8 to help my bff and myself. They did not rush us at all and took their time to get my design right. Definitely recommend coming here.

Tracy my nail lady is simply a wonderful woman! Not only does she do an excellent job she’s suuuuuuuch a sweetheart. This is so my nail place now. I feel bad that I’m cheating on my old nail lady with Tracy now. :P
This place is kind of hidden. I found out about it because Tracy volunteers at the school I work at. When she told me where it was, I would have never guessed. Right inside the strip mall where the In and Out in MV is.

SOUNANTHA… I LOVE HER!!!
I can’t say much about the nail side of this establishment because I go to another nail shop for that… but I swear Sounantha has magical fingers! I’m not real trusting of my hair in other people’s hands so it used to take a lot for me to sit in someone else’s chair with no control of what the outcome will be. But she listens to what you want and incorporates her eye for style in your hair too… I always leave with better hair than what I originally imagined! Lol!
Before fore I saw her last month for a cut and style (I moved to Lakewood, CA) I went to someone else in Long Beach… she…EFFED me up so bad… you can tell she was fresh out of school… well anyway… I got my mind right and as soon as my hair grew out a few more inches I drove down to SD JUST TO SEE SOUNANTHA! she fixed me up so nicely! I’m moving to LV soon and believe me driving to see her will be worth it!
