I’m at this location quite frequently. I don’t even know how many times I’ve been here but it’s been a lot. I go here because it’s convenient to my work location. The coffee and teas are OK. And I like the fact that it’s usually open 24 hours a day. I say about 98% of the time it’s open 24 hours unless they don’t have staffing. One issue that I have with the place is that they never seem to have fruit smoothies. Even though it’s on the menu, they always tend to run out. Especially towards the night time. So recently over the last couple years or so they’ve changed the menu and they just put seasonal fruit for the smoothies instead of having individual flavors. And even then they tend to run out. The staff are usually friendly and talkative so that is a plus. But the prices are pretty high even for an airport location. Also I’ve tried to call and speak to somebody but it’s literally impossible to reach somebody in charge or to email or answer a phone. Other than that its an OK location if you are at the airport or near it.

Horrible service on a slow night in the airport. The barista didn’t even look at the customers as we stood in line. She was horrendously slow, as if she was moving through an invisible force field and her mouth was sewn shut. There were 7 customers in line and we all couldn’t believe how oblivious to the line of people brewing in front of her. The woman in front of me announced she was changing her order to drip only, for quicker service. Following suit, I was also too hot for coffee myself, so I went with a 12oz bottle of OJ. The guy behind us said he was switching to plain drip too. The lady behind him announced she just wanted water. No eye-contact from the barista at all. She should’ve took a few shots of espresso before coming to work. Being a barista is a customer oriented job. The owner should take note and fire this girl asap. I have never put a business or employee on blast like this, but tonight(12⁄18 at 10:30pm) was the most blatant rude customer service I’ve seen in a long time. They lost at least $ 40 in sales with our order and the strangers in line tonight! If Starbucks, or any other place for that matter was open they would’ve received no business.

After a bit of international and domestic traveling over the years our hopes of buying a well made latte or cappuccino inside a terminal are very, very low. To our surprise both times we have tried Ryan Brothers they have proven to be way ahead of the rest… way ahead. Instead of being boiling hot el blando and half full of undrinkable froth we were treated to creamy, flavorsome filled to the top delicious lattes made with care and attention. And the service was very good as well.

This place is actually really good! Not what I expected from an airport café. The coffee is good and so is the food. Prices are a little high but compared to the other places to get food and drinks here this place is cheaper and has a better value. The service is great and the staff are friendly! Give it a shot you might be impressed…

Was picking up some people from the airport and stopped to get something to drink while we were waiting. I ordered a chai latte, which I didn’t see on their menu, but the girl said they had it. The chai was a little too sweet for my taste, and I actually like my chais on the spicy and sweet side. Tasted mostly like milk and chai powder, even though she did make some tea and pour it into my cup(along with powder). The coffee here is really hot! Had to wait about 10 minutes to start drinking it without burning my mouth. My neighbor, who I was with, asked for ice in her hot coffee to cool it down when we first ordered and when she tried the coffee after we were seated, she had to go and ask for more ice. Too hot!

Quick and covenient, Ryan Bros Coffee is a regular part of my travel now-a-days. Whether I am flying in or out of SD, Ryan Bros is the perfect way to gear up for a flight or wind down after. They have a great selection of coffee, teas and other assorted beverages you would expect to find at a coffee shop, or kiosk in this case. The Cowboy Coffee is robust and full of flavor. The espresso at Ryan Bros is some of the best I’ve had, and the Red Rooster iced tea is refreshing and full of flavor. The staff has always been friendly cordial and the service is quick, getting me back on my way in timely fashion. I am teetering between three and four stars. The convenience and quality of the espresso earns Ryan Bros the fourth star.

Had a late flight on alaska friday night decided to give ryan bro a 2nd chance. Got my drink and tasted it. Informed the lady behind the counter it wasnt the same. She told me thats how its made and said she would show me the list of ingrediants. After she couldnt find the list she constanly gave me attitude and wanted me to tell her how to make it. Ive got the same drink constantly in temacula and barrio logan. Thanks ryan bro airport

Shockingly bad coffee from a company that I’ve known to love and trust. Ryan Bros in Barrio Logan gets it right, trained baristas, good equipment and perfectly roasted beans result in a nearly perfect shot of espresso every time. Ryan Bros airport is staffed by folks who don’t understand the craft and the 3 times I’ve tried this place, the result has been bitter, water and undrinkable espresso. What a shame.

Best coffee option at Lindbergh. I’ve been coming here since it was opened at SAN and for a long time at the Barrio store. Pretty much all of the from — from drinks are great, and the good old fashioned coffee is just awesome. Try the Cowboy Coffee if you need a kick in the head– It’ll start your day out just right. LoL… Pretty much all of the coffee selections are tasty here, and I’ve noticed that the kiosk employees are a notch above the usual bored looking airport employees. Always kind and rapid, this is a great location for a hot cup before your flight or while you’re waiting for your significant other to arrive. If you haven’t been to the Barrio Logan store, you’re nuts. You need to go– great coffees, sandwiches and treats, plus just a cool place to hang out with some of the more interesting characters in central San Diego. Recommended!

I go here because I LOVE the coffee and I LOVE Ryan Brothers in general. The lack of my usual five(fer) for them is due to the service. I typically will pop by here after a trip away from home, VERY grateful, to have access to one of my favorite coffees after I land. That is where my joy stops. The service persons there seem genuinely uninterested and are of absolutely no help. So, for those trips, I stick to whatever they have on tap less I want to deal with an eye roll or a sharp«what are you talking about». DO go here instead of Starbuck’s; especially if you are going for a simple good cup of Jo. I will say, their other cart(I think in Terminal 2… whichever one this is not) is AMAZING. The reason why I go to Ryan Bros. Sadly, Terminal One gets the shaft at SAN with Terminal 2 always having the good stuff; to include a reflection room I hear. Some love in Terminal One would be nice(and NO I do NOT count the«upgrade» to gates 1 and 2 as love)…I digress.

Nice surprise to see that Ryan Bros Coffee is also located in SD airport! I love their coffee and I have visited the main branch in Barrio Logan several times. Nice atmosphere in that lost corner of own town. This branch at the airport is very small(not your usual Starbucks) and very pricey, but after all prices at airports skyrocket. I like their slogan ‘like is too short to be bitter’ and the barista is very friendly. Love those coffee thermos they sell with the logo of the company in bright bold colors. A nice gift to bring to SD abroad!
