This is my favorite mid range sushi place. It’s dependable and the best quality for what you pay. Definitely make a reservation if you go on the weekend because it gets busy. Their large beer with hot sake deal ($ 5.25) is an insane deal!!!

This is by far my favorite sushi place in San Diego. The service is great was se at ed immediately after arriving. The staff is really friendly and quick to bring out the order. The food itself was really good everything was fresh and was brought out really fast. I am definitely coming here again and I highly recommend it.

Cheap, quaint and delicious! Recently visited post renovation and I dig what they’ve done with the place. I had a bit of everything, sushi, sashimi, spicy ramen, rolls, agadashi tofu, and the fried ice cream… all in one sitting! They do a great job and stay pretty busy for being down the street from the deli of sushi. Can’t wait to come back.

If I would’ve made a Unilocal 4 years ago I would’ve been the duchess of this joint. My bf and I come here all the time. It’s delicious ! The memories we have here are great as well. From the funny birthdays where the sushi chefs got down singing birthday sex to a romantic anniversary. We always end up ordering the same thing snow ball, rk roll, sexy roll, play boy roll … To be honest I think we’ve ordered everything actually lol my point is you can’t go wrong and the service is great.

Delicious! The sexy roll was my favorite! But the other three were also super good. I like it a lot more than sushi deli for sure. Service is very quick and friendly which is always a plus :)

I’ve been coming here for a long time and it’s been always the same. It’s always very good. It is one of those places where you go to get fresh sushi at the very good price. Always fresh and tasty !!! They also have special in two bottles of hot sake for $ 5 or a bottle of sake and a beer. I tried everything on their menu and it’s good .
I gets pretty busy sometimes so you might have to wait but it’s worth it !!!

I’ve been to this place many times and it always satisfies. Good service and good food. I recommend the sexy roll. They have drink specials and the pricing is decent. The nigiri is always fresh and delicious. The restaurant is fairly small and intimate, but if you go during the right times you won’t have any wait.

The place is small, but service is pretty fast. Just a block down from sushi deli and I happen to like them a little more.
What we had:
— Teriyaki beef bowl — just under $ 10 for dinner. A little over priced for the size. But the cuts of beef were good cuts. No gristle.
–Philadelphia roll
— Spicy tuna
–Spicy Salmon — didn’t really care for this roll. The cuts of salmon weren’t very good.
–The Orange Roll — this wasn’t the roll I ordered, actually ordered the Ocean Roll. An error we happily embraced as it was Yummy!

Stopped by here for lunch while being in San Diego for a few hours which was recommended by a local. The place was casual and clean. Sat us down right away and we were able to order right off the bat since we were on a time crunch. Ordered fish and chips sushi which was a first for me; they were delicious! We ordered a dragon roll (average), spider roll (least favorite, usually my favorite), rainbow roll (average), pink roll (average), miso soup (average), California roll (average) and 5 different types of Nigiri (above average) which were my favorite for this lunch.
The server was overall nice and pleasant. The price was average to sushi joints. Will be back for lunch next time if in the area but nothing to die for.

I’m a big fan of nigiri, and the nigiri here is pretty bomb. I was stoked to see that they have the all you can eat now, so that I could eat mad nigiri. They also have some of the appetizers and rolls for the all you can eat. I recommend getting the octopus nigiri, it has great texture and amazing taste.
