SAD but true: (Any one you messes with MY safety while I am Riding has got to go !!!
More drama on Palomar. Several months ago, I was telling you folks how Rick Clemson was attacking other photographers (not me, but I did witness one incident), because he does not want competition on the mountain, and has stated in a court hearing «I’m the best photographer up there, they (the others) just get in my way». He was taken to court by one of the photogs he attacked, but there was a lack of evidence, but now Clemson was caught removing the reflective safety devices along the turns, and was given a 3 year probation and possible fines for his dangerous actions.

Ask anyone that rides at Palomar mountain if they know who Rick Clemson is and they know who you are talking about. He is there every weekend and you know his getting shots of you every time your up there. Great photos of high quality. The only thing that keeps me from rating it a 5 star is the lack of different angles and high price for digital copy… All photos from the day just look too similar. Change the price of digital photos from $ 20 to $ 10, better yet $ 9.99(looks better) and people will buy more often. And get on some trees, lay down on a turn etc for different angles where you get part of the road or scenery instead of focus on rider’s «knee down» photos all the time.

Great photos from Rick. He’s been doing this for a while and he always seems to get the perfect shot. Prices are reasonable as well.

Several photographers often show up at Palomar Mountain to take photos of the motorcycles and cars that drive up and down the twisty road on the weekends, but Rick Clemson is the most well known out of the riding community. You can pretty much count on him being there every Saturday and Sunday taking pictures in one of the tight turns on Palomar Mountain.
If you ever make it out there on the weekend, stop by where he is sitting and chat it up. He is always willing to snap more pictures of you upon request.
