I brought five bags of mixed recycling here. I was immediately scolded by the person working there for setting them down outside of the cone zone, which i did not see and was just collecting them somewhere as I came back and forth with more bags from my car. On my last trip, a piece of broken glass from the nearby pavement got inside my shoe and I began gushing blood. While bleeding, I separated all of the recyclables,(not to the mans liking as I missed a few pieces and he angrily re-sorted mine later), and then he began to weigh them. I was about $ 12 in when his computer«broke» and he offered me no recourse for the plastics he already weighed, and I walked away with only my aluminum cans as he had already thrown the plastics into the large bin. He probably took my ticket when his computer«turned back on» and kept the money himself. Will NEVERCOMEBACK here.

Usually it’s a easy going process, but the other day that worker was snapping at everyone for trying to grab a bin out of line to speed up the process. No one was particularly complaining or even minding at that. Maybe he was just having a hard day because standing around listening to music while dumping trash cars is such hard work. I get more money at the center down street at Albertson’s because it counts each recyclable instead of by weight, but I come here because to support more«local» to my area. The old worker was more pleasant. Never had a bad experience with him.

My first time going to a recycling place! It is located right behind Ralphs in a small parking lot. There are two metal containers where you sort your recycleables into bins. The guy who works here is a character! Sort your light plastic water bottles so he can count them for you and make more money instead of weighing. All in all I made 12.50 $ for 20 minutes of work! You can redeem the voucher you get at Ralphs within 30 days.

So stoked to find this place. Convenient to my place for sure. Dropped off two and a half bags of recyclables. I know it’s kind of small but I live in a condo and I can’t accumulate too much before I start living in them. Earned a whole $ 5.00 for something I would have thrown away anyhow. Go green :)

I drink to quench my thirst and I re-cycle to quench my pocket!!! This was my first time going to a rePlanet and I like it better than going to the landfill in Convoy. Per my experience, you get more here than you get there. I prefer to do bottle/can by bottle/can rather than it getting weighed. It’s 5 cents per so if you have roughly about 10 trash bags of both it adds up to a pretty penny. Just plan to spend an hour or longer depending on how many peeps are in front of you and how many bags they have. Also a weekday would probably be better than a weekend. I’m all for saving the planet. I would rather re-cycle than throwing my money in the trash, wouldn’t you?
