Registrar of Voters – County of San Diego

This review will be the as long as it took me to get something done here.
What I needed was a copy of my Voter’s Registration Card. What I got was a nice brisk walk, a voter’s reg. card, and that was it!
The San Diego County office area is SUPER nice. Open area with nice new buildings and a huge structure with an on-​site café. The Registrar of Voters is part of this new office complex.
When I walked in, I was greeted very warmly by someone at the front desk and she asked how she may help me. I told her what I wanted and she said to just go upstairs and someone would help me.
When I got there, two people were there, one of which was taking off for lunch. I naturally assumed she would leave, but she helped me because the other one was making a photo copy. I told her I could wait because I wasn’t in a rush but nope, she delayed her lunch so I could get in and out SUPER quick.
Everyone here was nice and helpful and it worked out great! I got my card and that was it.

As a Road Warrior, I probably should be a permanent mail ballot voter but I don’t feel like I’ve voted unless I get my sticker (in Tagalog no less), so I usually do early voting. Good thing I read my ballot because they have moved into fancy new digs in the SD County complex, just a few blocks away from the old location.
The new building is just to the right as you enter the complex and has dedicated spots for voter parking. The lobby is spacious but it was easy to figure out where I needed to go to get my voting done. They had me vote with an electronic Diebold machine. I am not really a fan of those but it was much easier than I remembered from the last time I used one.
Another super painless vote cast. Definitely one of the better SD county agencies to deal with.
